Per my own personal experience: Figo finds a way to not pay for anything. My dog ate a corncob while he was at a pet sitters house and ended up needing surgery to remove the blockage. Figo found a sentence that I had made to the vet two years prior when he was a puppy that he would sometimes try to eat things. They used that to refuse paying on his surgery. Maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to go but I was extremely disappointed.

I personally don’t use pet sitters…. They don’t watch and take care of the dogs like the way they should, especially if it was their own dogs…

It is interesting that they didn’t help with the cost because it isn’t uncommon for a dog to eat things and require a surgery to remove the foreign body. Sorry that happened to you.
