I think you should distinguish between the skater as a person and their skating....Anna is lovely and graceful, but definitely not her skating.....Compare her skating with Kaori, and if you can't see the MASSIVE difference, then I guess that's why the judges could get away with this kind of unjust and unfair judging: the lay audience can't even tell the difference!

You Young's layback to Biellman spin at 4:06:04 was just exquisite and unforgettable. Valieva reminds of a contemporary dancer with her unrivaled extensions and emotional expressions. Scherbakova is very much a muse of complex classical Russian ballet. But Kaori Sakamoto gave me tears of joy...and a beautiful ending.

Credible jumping techniques? Look closer...Sakamoto and Kim both have full blade assistance on their toe pick jumps. Young also has excess prerotation. They're not perfect just because they're not Russian.

Thank you for uploading this exciting ice skating competition. Our national tv broadcaster covered the Beijing Olympics, but showed very little if the ice skating. Now, I have had the wonderful pleasure of watching all of it, complete. @@kpoknows2389 Какие риски, зачем они нужны? Это олимпиада. Ее задача, чисто откатать программу, без ошибок и падений. Все точка. Она это сделала. Она же не знала, как откатают Саша, и Камила. Вот Женя могла рискнуть, и добавить прыжок в программе, чтобы выиграть у Алины, так как Алина каталась в произволке первой, но Женя не захотела рисковать, о чем она и сказала в интервью Собчак. До сих пор не понимаю, как могли поставить Вакабу на пятое место. Замечательная программа + исполненный тройной аксель. И Вакаба Хигучи была потрясающа, как она прочувствовала свою программу, просто шикарная фигуристка. И, конечно же, восхитительная Фрида в исполнении Александры, по-моему, лучшая короткая программа за эту Олимпиаду. Каждый раз пересматриваю как в первый. И исполнение, и содержание (хотя, я думаю, что Глейх мог получше постараться), очень-очень жаль, что тройной аксель не получился. И, конечно, Каори, программа на первое место, не иначе

Я вам помогу понять с точки зрения спорта, так как это всё-таки спортивное соревнование. У Хигучи сильный недокрут на тройном акселе, скорее всего, его засчитали, как двойной. На скорости 0,25 отлично видно. Спорный каскад 3Lz+3T-там как будто на 3T она сделала 1 оборот на льду). Трусова-тоже недокрут+падение на попытке тройного акселя. Без четверных прыжков она обычная среднего уровня фигуристка, ничем не лучше большинства, не отличалась ни мастерством скольжения, ни растяжкой, как у Валиевой.

@@alexander28110 неправда, в протоколах нет недокрута на акселе, вы, вероятно, спутали Вакабу с Ю Ен. Я считаю, что Вакабу обсчитали именно в компонентах, там явно не может быть так мало. У нее очень мягкое скольжение, интерпретация музыки. Возможно, не самые сложные заходы на прыжки, но тем не менее, есть техника. Я не считаю, что Сашу засудили, мне просто понравилась программа, по-хорошему, ни у одной из наших девочек не должно было быть таких высоких оценок за компоненты.

​@@ammonium5027Мы не прверяли протоколы, но с её контентом и чистым исполением должно было быть примерно 45 за технику, а там только 39, значит много отняли. И там сразу видно в таблице в верхнем левом углу, почти каждый элемент (квадратик) жёлтого цвета, значит, какая-то то ошибка. Красный квадратик-падение или сорванный элемент. Зелёный - всё хорошо. Лайфхак- тройной аксель это 3,5 оборота, фигурист прыгает корпусом и лицом вперёд, а приземляется спиной и затылком вперёд. У Хигучи видно, что это не так. На ноги ещё нужно смотреть, как у Трусовой, недостаточная высота и как следствие, сильный недокрут и ногами зацепилась. Писали, что Хигучи не является фавориткой японской федерации и надо было продвигать Сакамото и я не могу судить, слишком много или справедливо отняли баллов у Хигучи. Сакамото отлично выступила на олимпиаде, но они все блекнут рядом с российскими топами. На произвольной Трусова прыгнула 5 четверных(!!!), хоть и не идеально, а у Щербаковой было 2 четверных флипа и сложный каскад 3Lz+3Lo, ну а Валиеву намеренно загнобили, хоть она и лучшая была. Так что японки по итогу просто ни о чём, красиво прокатились с тройными и двойными прыжками. Сейчас женскую международную одиночку вообще не смотрю, так как всё одинаковое, нет ярких индивидуальностей, приевшиеся двойные и тройные прыжки и посредственная растяжка.

Почитал тут "специалистов", это вообще смешно. Янг Ю судьи так жестоко "обидели", а там недокрутище на 3А и тройной флип кривой-косой, чуть в борт не впилилась, но почти лучше всех по мнению фанатов😂. Не представляют, за что всё - таки дают компоненты, а там очень много критериев, далеко не только скольжение.

You Young and Wakaba Higuchi were hella underscored.....the way the judges called Young's Axel and then her flip......like, look at those three Russians with their floop and flutz, utterly ridiculous. So tired of 6 years of this bullsh-- where flutz and floop masters like Medvedeva and Scherbakova being generously scored while the Japanese and the Koreans constantly penalized for the smallest detail A lot of the quads performed by the Russians in the long are also ridiculously scored, Trusova legit got higher bonus points for her quads compared to Hanyu pre-Olympic, even better than Kolyada in Russian Nationals when Kolyada literally performed a textbook quad

I can't still understand why Young You has earned only 70, Wakaba 73, Yelim 68. I know there were some errors of jumps and spins, it was really unfair, Young's 3A

but Camila's samples were clean at the Olympics and the European Championship. they found only a small dose of doping in her. but this small dose will not help her to lift her leg higher or jump triple axel/quad jumps. only diligent training and her many years of work help her, but not doping. everyone talks about her scandal as if no one else had a small amount of doping. I'm talking about Jessica Kalalang. she was acquitted and not removed from the competition. So what's with the double standards? why should Camila be suspended for a small dose of doping that was accidentally ingested, and the American figure skater was acquitted? it's double standards. I repeat once again, but Valiev's samples at the European Championships and the Olympics were clean!

Kaori and Wakaba competed with Zhenya and Alina in the junior ranks. The latter two are no longer here, while the first two are here and are still very relevant. Beautiful skating from the Japanese women. They are the best skaters in this field

The difference is the second two became world champions, GPF champions, European champions &olympic champions they won all the big competitions , achieved their goal and also became two of the most successful , richest & the most popular athletes in their country and world while between the first two one of them wasn't even qualified for 2018 olympic & kaori's highest achievement before this was winning a gold at 4cc .

During the olympics, I couldn't help myself feeling so proud of Korean skaters as a Korean. Young and Kim, the legacy of the queen Yuna fought so well in spite of the shocking doping scandal of Russians. I'm not saying that Young and Kim were perfect, but definitely they deserve better than this. Kudos for Kaori and Higuchi as well. They are the real skaters we should feel sorry for, not Russians. We all know that there are more secrets that has to be revealed.
