I have a d4s that I use for popping to shops and running errands. love the thing.. fiidos are cheap and cheerful in nature but the fact that they're cheap makes them ideal run abouts as you can lock them outside and not care quite so much as you would with a 3 grand e bike

*Update:* It has been 3 years since posting this. The D3 Pro still run flawlessly and I'm still regularly nipping out and about with it

Another Very cool little bike by fiido, not really what I call a folding bike as it’s only the handle bars fold, What does the bike weigh and what size are the wheels, look like 14”? To be honest I love my fiido ds4 and it was have to be a special bike to make me change now, don’t think this is the one, might be good for a small kid though.,

Can the bike be easily pushed/dragged along in folded position? For example in the subway? I want to minimize the carrying to stairs only.

So is it easy remove or replace the battery? Is it easy to remove the back wheels?
@Premises1872 жыл бұрын
I have removed the back wheel to replace the tyre and it's not a big deal. I did it keeping the motor cable attached. I've not removed the battery but I've seen the screws holding it in place. Looks pretty straight forward

Do you need to use the pedal just to run? or you can just sit and run it without using the pedals?
@Premises187 Жыл бұрын
You can use either the throttle or pedal assist. Bike will climb to top speed with either one

Ebikes won't take off in the UK until they lift that stupid 25mk/h limit because as you showed you can easily pedal faster than that.
@Premises1873 жыл бұрын
You're misinformed, so long as the motor stops propelling you after 25 (and the D3 Pro does), it's legal.

I’m gonna set off on a rant here but it will quickly develop into a point. I hate electric scooters. The puny spindly little things that most chavs use to antagonise security guards in shops. They’re not road legal, too fast for the pavement, and abhorrently expensive. Not to mention that one nearly took a persons life in London not so long ago. Why would anyone spend £450 of their money on one of those? When there’s things like this available? More range, more speed, more power, more usability, and spades more safety. For less! Less! Probably still wouldn’t switch from “naturally aspirated” cycles myself, but this is a perfect solution to the age old e-scooter problem. I’d love a stirrup pump built into my seat post, just saying! Great product and great review. Ta Premmy!

I asked myself, "I wonder if he's getting paid for this?". I didn't need to do that because the answer was obvious.
@Premises1873 жыл бұрын
I didn't get paid for this. I just got the bike and the opportunity to review a newly released product. I don't even make money from the sales (notice the Fiido link in the description is not an affiliate one). If I did I would be legally obligated to declare that. So my description at the beginning of the video saying "Fiido sent me this bike" was enough. I hope your 'obvious' conclusion was correct
