I would like to make some more cards and crafts for Mother days and 4th of July. anything really. Be blessed. Remember God sometimes just wants us to wait.

Enjoyed the video. I am currently watching a lot of videos of ephemera holders so I can decide what kind I will make. I agree about the bug paper, I wouldn’t use it either. I don’t think I could even use it where I would see it occasionally. I don’t like big bugs. So glad we don’t have huge bugs in Alaska (for the most part)

I love watching your projects because you can use up all of your papers. I have so much ephemera that I have made and presently I have stored them in a box but I think this is better because you can see all of things that you have to use on your projects. Thank you for allowing us to view the things that you make. I live in Hawaii and I always have to order on line or try to use what I have so you have helped me think out of the box. Thank you

I love this idea, my friend made me a calendar in a booklet for xmas so I used it for ephemera and you are right it is much better in a booklet and close at hand. Thanks for showing me how to make more. I enjoy keeping things out within a short distance. I just wish I could sew. I think I am too old to learn. Tfs and teaching us.

You are so cute…I love that colorful bug paper. Years ago one of our church families had little boys and had a bug themed birthday party. The kids were given bug catchers and containers to see how many different bugs they could find in the park. This paper would have been perfect for scrapbooking those photos.

I thought I’d share a “happy accident” I came across just the other day. I always cut my books apart when I get them and put the book covers to the side to use for journals later. While I was using my glue stick the other day while making ephemera, I didn’t have my book block that I glue on handy, I happened to have the front cover of a book that I had just cut off. ( it was coffee table size) It was one with a very slick cover. I thought, I’d just use that to glue with and just wipe it off as I go along, I found out that it is an awesome board to glue onto because you cant damage it and it wipes off clean every time. I just use a baby wipe and a dry towel to wipe it off. I hope this helps you in the future. ( it also saves your book pages for decorating with).

@rebeccagable96293 жыл бұрын
Ours, too. Some of the books are only 10 cents each during their "Friends of the Library" sales. Garage sales are another source of cheap books, especially near the end of the sale time when they haven't sold all their old books--often they're happy to let you haul them away for free! I stocked up & have tons of old books.

Why not stitch in two directions for your backstitch? Start the seam about 1/2" from edge, stitch toward the edge, then turn and complete your seam to the other end, turn it back and stitch 1/2".
