Obviously I dont know the details of your relationships but from my experience when someone says the other person is "too nice" what they really mean isnt that they are respectful or have manners and stuff, its that they avoid confrontations/pivot too quickly. 12:05 just a quick correction, "nice guy" means nothing. People use it in wildly different contexts. What we don't like is when someone objectifies women or acts like they deserve them. In the current social climate, especially if you live in america, dating is difficult for everyone, and the sooner you realize that the better. A lot of people just aren't in the mindset to put in that much of a commitment with everything going on right now, but that doesn't mean it's impossible, it's just gonna be a special case that you'll have to figure out on your own. I'd recommend working on confidence and thinking of the best in people, while still preparing for the worst. Something that unfortunately these two did not practice by assuming that you were repulsive to women because you were a "nice guy" when clearly you're seeking to change yourself in some way. Change is good and you should embrace it whenever you can, it'll make life so much better to live. Juat be careful if you feel yourself slipping down the path of thinking you deserve someone being with you, because that's not true, whether it would make your life better or not. It's not true for any of us because that's not how love works.

Not sure if this is a genuine question, but if so the kind of "nice" people that others can't stand are ones that basically give special treatment. Like say a guy has a crush on a girl and he does everything that you'd consider a good boyfriend to do, but as soon as she isn't around he turns rude and just feels like a different person. A truly kind person treats everyone with respect regardless of their gender or if they have any romantic interest. When a guy is clearly just giving special treatment it's obvious to everyone around them, but they're too oblivious to see it themselves. Don't be that kind of person. Be a genuinely kind person to everyone around you even if you may not get along because that's what will get you the good kind of attention.
