Wow so cool, such a nice atmosphere at the Japanese Yurakuen restaurant. Surprised they didn't have a view of the water behind the US embassy. am sure a lot of the rooms in the Diamond Hotel do though. Thank your friends for letting us tag-a-long. Very enjoyable video Michael...Jim

Nice friends and a very nice hotel. You may be a little underdressed though. Your camera works very well in low light areas. I hope that family is blessed bye your channel. Very nice coach you rode in. I recognize the house from a live feed. Another great video Mike

I second this comment! Also, Michael though tired as he said, was in fine humor form. I chuckled at: “Yurakuen…I’ve been called worse…” & “I like food…let’s go for food” It was very relaxing watching the food preparation in that serene atmosphere. Thanks Dr Junius, Mrs. Jackie & Zen for the opportunity to accompany y’all virtually. Lovely friends, M has. I remembered Mr Denmark & his fam from the old channel. Congrats to them on their newest cutie addition! 💙💖💖/ In the Phil, a nanny is often called a Yaya. So what wud a “Manny” be? Yoyo? lol just joking.

Love seeing the fancy places you have been touring, not that I'm in that financial bracket... But its nice to see how people with lots of resources live. I only eat canned tuna, they dump sewage directly in the ocean, so the fish from those little pump boats better be cook thoroughly, that Sushi is probably imported and safe! Steak looked amazing tho'

Such a lovely family ❤ I am hopeful one of your viewers has need for a second-shift teleworker (Philippine time) to help out. And - loved that Japanese restaurant ! I was a bit squeamish about raw fish as well, until a friend and world traveler went with me to a hibachi / sushi place. He was my guide, explained what to order and what to avoid. Definitely consider trying it some day, especially at a super high-end place like that one ! They know what they're doing. 😎

Ok that looked good and everything ,but as a chef myself cooking beef and serving it right away on your plate without having the patience to set it aside and let the meat rest is not what i would expect from a high end place ,personally i would send their meat back im sure its not ceap there its basic cooking 101 rest your your meat. Its cooking basics especially high end restraunts they should know better. Its called a steak being purged your gramma knows better to rest your roast after cooking

Hello Chef, that’s what I’ve always known as well. (Total nonprofessional). But as this was Japanese, I did an internet search & skimmed a long answer & apparently this is not uncommon among Japanese Tepanyani (sp?) I just read it & all ready forgot spelling- chefs as the technique involves frequent quick turnings which allows rests thruout the process…🧑🏻‍🍳🇯🇵🥩😋

I agree you rest a steak so the juices lock in but as you can see he cut the steak so no need to let it rest as the juices are now glazing the steak
