The lady bought the cheaper black wallet that was Made in China. We frequently passed by that area and the wallets actually range from 100-700 pesos. Max bought the one that was made in the Philippines. He wasn't scammed.

Don't get deceived by vendors in that part of Manila. Most vendors there are opportunist they will charge triple or much more of the price they're selling. That wallet you bought cost only for a hundred bucks and that pill mostly it's fake it can you cause harm. Not all people are like those you met, there are lots of nice Filipino just always be careful to who you are dealing with. Enjoy!

I think when filipinos say "indian corn" they are self identifying as "locals" -- meaning, "LOCAL corn". It's a colonial identifier cause everyone WAS "indian" in European people's eyes back then 😂 i hope this explanation makes sense. We gotta be open talking about this
