Landscapes used to be something that I did a lot before getting into abstract portraiture. In 2024 I want to start getting back into doing landscapes and trying to expand the way I do them in connection to abstract art. I just recently bought this book called Landscape Painting Now: From Pop Abstraction to New Romanticism and it is an excellent reference book because it gives insight into how expansive landscapes are regarding art movements and styles. Landscapes aren't this linear type of thing when it comes to art. I love this spread and your selection of tones which are some of my favorites to paint with especially when using watercolor and gouache.
