Morning cart is probably one of my favorite things you show. I love all the time and learning you spend together and how even as your kids grow older everyone is still such a huge part of each day.

You’re amazing! It would be so helpful for me if you went through what you do on each day of the week. I get overwhelmed! Thank you!

I love that you said you still like to teach your teens and connect. So often I’m hearing the older they get the more independence of schooling. That makes me sad as I like spending time with my daughter

Always love watching when you begin to plan for the new year! Would you be able to share a sort of schedule on how you use /what you use daily with the morning cart?? I have 4: 9,11,15,16 - so trying to get an idea on how to incorporate them all and at the same time have time with my teens. Thanks so much for all you do!!❤️❤️❤️

I love the title of Jesus Freaks, but I loved DC Talk growing up and loved the song Jesus Freaks. I do love that book too, it never gets old for me, always moves me, sometimes it's really hard but I find those important too even for our younger ones. Thank you for sharing with us, it's always fun to see what others are using! ❤️

Have you listened to the song Jesus freak by DC talk? It's a rock song but basically it's saying the world may call me a Jesus freak for loving Jesus but I don't really care. So the title may seem harsh but when you listen to the song, Jesus freak is a good label
@christinasetzer28802 жыл бұрын
Lol yes. I loved DC talk

I have never heard it, I knew what they meant by the title just not my favorite word lol

The book is actually named from that song. My parents gave me that book as part of my high school graduation present 22 years ago. There's a little thing in it from DC talk. Its a great book.

Saw you all on the Ag channel in Rockford, Il. This morning! Subscribed!!! Grew up on grandparents daily farm in PA. They went with the gov't buyout years ago---- so worked on neighboring farms. Miss that life!!!! KEEP GETTING YOUR REAL LIFE MESSAGES OUT THERE. Public has NO idea and the hating idiots are FEW but annoying!!! HEY DAD and MOM---- THUMBS UP to you BOTH too!!! YOU have raised BLESSINGS and not curses to our world!!!

Morning "cart" time has been a struggle for us. This past year, my 2nd and K students were "pooped" by the end of a short devotional, scripture work, read aloud, and then science or history. I need to work on their stamina because we obviously have other subjects to fit in.

Love the morning cart!! This is something I want to do this year. I get overwhelmed with all the things… how do you decide which things to do everyday and which things to alternate days?
@GraceandGrit2 жыл бұрын
So I start with the things we do daily. Then I choose two read alouds to alternate Then the books left over I just cycle through, with no real schedule.

Do you have any first day of school traditions? I wanted to add a small gift that would be used during school like a craft or game but it is so hard to find stuff for older kids. I would love to see what you do.

I love watching your morning cart videos. Mine are still littles but I love seeing the material you use to keep in mind for the future. We did buy the poem book last school year because of you and we love it! Also, where did you get your shirt? Every time I see you in it in your stories I’m hoping you link it cuz it is so cute and I love the color!

Hi, love your videos! Newer homeschool mom here with younger kids. How long do you and your kids spend doing the morning cart each day? My kids are 6, 4 and 2 so right now we are doing 5 min devotionals before we start their Tgtb curriculums but thinking ahead!
