Filling ammo can with 1000 rounds of 5.56 Winchester FMJ

For any ammo can… Used military or not. You need to take a good look at the gasket. If it’s not sealing all the way around and you can’t fix it easily there’s no point in buying that can. Those aftermarket ones from Harbor freight or Walmart, etc.… are among the worst other than the really banged up military ones. Take a really good look at the gasket. Should be an easily definable mark where the top of the can is contacting it all the way around. If not, and you can’t fix it by 30 seconds of tweaking something… Forget it and try another one.
