Jamerrill I have been struggling with mental health lately but when I watch your videos I feel not so alone. Your voice makes me feel safe and the love you have for your family and the food you make warms my heart. Thank you from the deepest part of my heart for making the dark days brighter. ❤

I am so glad you are getting back into the big batch cooking. Not only because I love watching and getting motivated to do myself, ( I have bought all your bundles and put them in a binder) but MOSTLY because of your healing process. It makes me smile when you talk about preserving those tomatoes in freezer and the fact that you are enjoying getting back into big batch cooking. I am so happy for how far you come after your life turned upside down. I mention you often in my videos that you are where I get my inspiration from. 💜💜💜

Thank you for your past videos and the new come back videos. You've helped me so much. I've got 7 to feed her and it would actually be 12 if I didn't have 2 kitchens. One granddaughter and her family live in the inlaws suite. She does her own cooking. I've helped by teaching her to prep meals. Sometimes me and both granddaughters can all day or prep meals and fill up our freezer. I just never thought about prepping meals until I started watching your videos. I've been a fan for years now. The girls work and it's a huge help having meals ready to go. Again thank you for your valuable videos they are life changing, and life saving. It's smart these days to prep.

So I'm the picky eater, I'm 53 and have grown kids but I don't eat peas or carrots. I've never really enjoyed cooking the same ole things constantly , so your videos have helped a lot. I've always wanted sheppards pie but never would try it until i thought i just need to adapt it to something I'll eat. So this week we are having shepards pie with zucchini, yellow squash, mushrooms, and onions. I'm also going to do a gravey. I'm really looking forward to it.

@@JamerrillStewartyou have the best meat masher in your kitchen and didn't even realize it. I saw this tip on Rachel Ray years ago your old fashioned potato masher serves duel purpose as a meat masher. It's metal so way more durable and one product with dual function that you already have. Way better than those plastic things. Give it a try next time, it will change your life ! Love watching your videos I too am going through a trail so I can relate. I appreciate Psalms 18 ❤

I, many minds ago, would take one day to cook up several different recipes. I would freeze them. They were life savers. I got out of the habit when my two kids got older, and they started cooking. Our kids moved out, and my husband retired early, at 50, because of PTSD. We thought it would just be the two of us. We got rid of the freezer. Less than a year later, my mom became very ill. She spent time in rehab, and we had my two younger siblings move in with us, both are Downs Syndrome. After 10 months recovering at my home, my mom, siblings, and daughter moved back to her house. We thought ok alone again we could start traveling. My mother, less than a year later, fell and had 21 stitches in her forehead and eye. We found out it was her heart. Rushed to a better hospital 2 hours away during the beginning of covid. She had emergency surgery. She had a stroke during the surgery. More rehab. Then, I moved back to our house along with a huge dog. Plus, my older sister moved in with us with her dog. My mom passed away a few months later. We got guardianship of my younger siblings. Then, within 5 months, my husband parents moved in with us. So, at this point, we had my older sister, two younger siblings, our daughter, my in-laws, one was 92 and the other 90, two dogs, and three guinea pigs. In a 4 bedroom 2 bath house. My sister moved out and took her pigs and dog. Last Jan, my FiL passed away. Our daughter moved to Utah to live with her brother. Yes, there's a point to all this. We are now on a very tight budget. Watching you I decided tomorrow I really need to take my ADHD medicine so I can focus on the task at hand and go to the store and buy the stuff to start my freezer meals. We did get my mother's freezer over to our house. Now, to start filling . It up. Especially since my younger brother started having health issues two months ago and had a pacemaker put in. Too many doctor appointments, people coming and going, and other appointments to think about cooking. We can just throw it in the oven and know it's going to be good.

Well 11-14 people eating at home 3 meals per day plus snacks etc is a lot of food. Just look at that one recipe of shep pie which made 6 meals-- 8 cups of butter and practically a bag of flour and like 10 lbs of meat and 5-6 lbs of vegis. For just 6 meals. So there’s roughly 90-95 meals a month. Lots of groceries. She bulk buys flats of vegis and such when they are on sale. Go back and watch some of her big grocery hauls. Pretty impressive! ❤
