I worked for a scrapyard a few years back that had a modern Ford flatbed (rollback) for picking up junk cars. It had a 365hp 6.8L V10 with a 6spd manual. It was far, far faster than it ever should've been. That thing was AWESOME!

I've done with a friend a near-perfect replica of a VW Brasilia (a Brazilian Beetle with a boxier body) and we used DW, and with a specific tune, it behaves very near to VW's swing axle/torsion tube suspension.

sure, but they aren't the same thing still. The big thing is the change in camber that doesn't happen with DW

The ride height was with the vehicle loaded which is part of why it bottomed out when you loaded it cause without a vehicle on it, it will sit higher

You can use f7 to teleport your car in free cam, just line the car up and put the camera in the middle of the bed (while the car is selected) and bam should teleport relatively simply

​@fillman86 Old video and late reply, but the most accurate way of moving vehicles is in the F11 Build screen. The best part about it is both vehicles will reset in the last editor position.

Just downloaded this in beam and had a play. It's really cool. Wish some more work would go into it ouside automation tho. I'll probly manually make a better engine curve.. but it's got some wobblyness about it.. I suppose one could up the spring values overall for the chassis?

I'm a new subscriber, but may I make a request? The Chrysler 300, second generation that came out in the early 2000's, had a great look up front. Very Bentley-ish. Love that look. Unfortunately, the back end of the car is a horribly ugly mess that looks like no one ever bothered to design it. I've always wondered what that car would look like with classic, 50's era fins, like a Cadillac. Can you design something like that? Thanks!

Assetto isn't simcade at all, you probably feel that way because the track modders have used the low poly visual mesh as the drivable mesh in Beam. Assetto usually uses a mich higher poly invisible mesh for track surface physics.

I drove only the base game, no mods. It is not a simulator style of racing game, so what would you call it? It's probably the worst racing game out there, but it's just so easy to mod, and that's why I believe it's popular :) I like games that are moddable
