The Tite front seems to give it fits. Forces a bounce read to your OLBs and ILBs can scrape over the 4i. It hurts your pass rush, but pretty much takes IZ out of their playbook.

Yes, over the course of the game it worked out. We bounced in and out of 4i/5, trying to counter act run but not killing our rush. Matching up against their OC was a challenge.

one issue with defense today is being overly concerned about the passing game. The problem is the offense has 7 in the box and 34 teams have 5, and 33 teams have 6. you need 7

Matt McDonald you’re correct. They still threw for over 400 yards on us with 5 and 6 in the box.

Pine View kid was a JR!!! There are all kinds of college athletes on the field for both teams. The talent level of Utah ball can be really high. Not the depth of other states but some absolute ballers!
