The best looking shoot yet! Those reflections are very subtle here and I could only really see something (?) in the sky to the left of the buildings in the city scape... but that could've easily been some searchlight from the streets so I think the whole issue could be mitigated by careful placements of actors and props... possibly?. Well done sir, keep exploring.

Nicely done...

To reduce reflections perhaps you could angle the tv a little. You'd have to adjust the perspective of the image on the tv so it looks correct to the camera. The angle means you have some control over what gets reflected and where reflections appear in frame.

That's a good idea, the TV is incredibly heavy though, not sure I'd want to test that idea without a very strong support😅

Another great video. I would be curious to see if you could pull off a wide shot by compositing the TV background seamlessly with the rest of the set. I could see how it could be achieved in post with some compositing tricks, masks etc, but achieving that in real time would be insane.

Hello Leo! wow the key work is amazing! How did you do it? I mean Unreal removed the green screen automatically when you where shooting or you used some post production software as After Effects or similar? Thanks!!!

Cheers again!😁 Yeah the video might be a bit confusing when it switches over to a greenscreen, it's all coming from a television but I wanted to switch over to something plain to get the idea of how it would look if the background wasn't there, so I chose a plain green picture. There certainly wasn't any keying done in this video, otherwise that would have defeated the point of trying to steer away from doing anymore greenscreen keying on hair or glass and fine details😅

Hey Leo, have you tried a polarizing filter on the camera lens to see if it improves the situation with the screen reflections?
@LeoTierney2 жыл бұрын
Hello there, yep I had a polarizing filter on the lens, on one of my previous videos I tested out the interesting effects it has on LCD screens, it reduces the brightness of screen which is an interesting effect, but it does help if you get the right balance😊
