Not used to much, over relied on. It’s frustrating watching an all star offense look like a .500 team. Most other good teams still find ways to be effective when someone goes down. The fan base is crazy but it’s not wild to expect great play from great players.

As a eagles fan I feel our scheme is aj brown and Devonta smith dependent but hurts is vertical threat dependent his mvp type season he was basically the best deep ball thrower of the football in the league and what brown can do on a go route is so much of hurts game he’s not looking to do little dump off passes all game he’s trying to take 1 or 2 shots either get a td or get close enough for saquan or tush push to punch it in

@@ecalebw legit a perfect take and you proved it either way what you just said any given week someone not named aj brown can have a good game and brown and smith could not play and guys like Goedert could step up so like I said I think the scheme is aj brown and Devonta smith dependent and that’s why we haven’t invested so much into backup receivers besides them but hurts himself I don’t think so cause even without them hurts is capable of getting the ball to goedert for almost 200 he just constantly needs someone who can stretch the field

@@alexmatthewsiv4310 I mean it's obvious the passing game runs through AJ and Smitty, but you ssee more players getting more touches week to week. Dallas got hurt and calcaterra got 4 targets and caught all of them for over 60 yards and Jahan had I'm pretty sure 3 catches as well so it's def not just them, but the offense and defense grow week to week. As fans we shouldn't expect any blowouts until after week 10

Hurts better learn to dumpoff passes.. he is not very accurate and his arm is average at best for the deep throws he is required to make. Im tired of seeing underthrown deep shots or off balance interceptions from a QB that has tremendous intangibles.

hurts just came off his best outing of the year with no TOs and over a 125 rating and has only had AJ for 2 games and smitty missed a game and not to mention Lane missed a game. Dallas just got hurt and Jordan so to say this is wildddd idk what y'all be watching but he hasn't played nearly as bad as you casual fans try to make it seem. Tunnel vision and predetermined passes with hurts. If you watch complete tape of a whole game you would see wide open guys for chunk yards or even TDs but then you scan your eyes over to Jalen and he’s not even LOOKING at them and instead throws it to like a AJ down field with sticky coverage for an incompletion it’s brutal to watch tbh. The line is good he NEEDS to start scanning the WHOLE field.

@NFCgreen depends were the eyes are. Yes if the qb is looking right and throws it to his best wr 1 on 1. Yes ignore. Now if he's doubled and doesn't come off the read that's when you are critical. Watch every qb in league there's guys open on 1 side, most teams run mirror concepts where the qb only picks 1 side of field.

Not going to lie, I watched the all-22 in 2022 and then watched the Browns. Same core routes, but the routes had space and the RPO. The Browns, it feels like iso to me. Whoever has an advantage is getting the ball, which isn't bad, but again, injuries happen, and it may not work down the road.
