@rosemali30225 жыл бұрын
@@banana_deity9305 Its more that our understanding of what science even is, is incapable of explaining certain things. When we talk about or engage in science we have a very limited definition that requires things to be able to be observed and replicated. For that reason, things that we know are true, are not science. For example, your voice inside your head? I have that too, so does probably everybody. But it cant be observed, so even though it undoubtedly exists, it is not "proven".

Thor says "Your Ancestors Called it Magic, but You Call it Science. I Come From a Land Where They Are One and the Same.” I think that he means that in Asgard, advances in technology and advances in magic made both of them capable of working together. This statement doesn't detract the existence of magic in Asgard. "Science" in Asgard probably had to bend its rules to incorporate magic, and vice versa.

Except remember who he's talking to when he says that. A human. Of course, she's a genius in human terms, but in Asgardian terms she's no where close. Thor is explaining magic in the easiest way he can to her. Notice how Asgardians refer to it as magic when not with non-Asgardians.

Controlling the gravity around them could be possible throughq making the light particles under/next to him move faster so he pushes himself up. No idea about warping across the planet. As for the time travel it is, in theory, possible to make time move back. You can do this through making particles go faster than the speed of light. There's probably some theory out there explaing it, don't have it with me right now...
