I am SO excited for Captain Marvel. This movie has the potential to take the ENTIRE Marvel Cinematic Universe and flip it on its head! The big enemy of the film, and Captain Marvel in the comics, are the Skrulls. They are the shapeshifting space warriors bent on the destruction of the Kree, who you might remember from the first Guardians of the Galaxy. The reason why hulk remembered that thanos is coming was because it was so traumatic to him that he didn’t just hit with hulk but with banner too

well and I think they've already established, just like how Hulk isn't truly an aimless raging death maniac to whomever he meets as long as he initially CHOSE to transform for a given time as opposed to being forced to by an external power/person, that he later as Banner can retain a reasonable amount of memory of what he did during Hulk time when he transformed on purpose. The Hulk at the beginning of Infinity War, he seems to have stayed in Hulk form all that time from when he chose to transform during the whole final Asgard battle in Ragnarok. Thus it makes sense he can warn Strange and Wong about Thanos when he turns back after crashing into the SS.

He's wrong in assuming all the snapped characters are safe. Logically, at least half the skrull replacements were snapped. Also, pretty sure Bucky was swapped between Winter Soldier and Civil War... Aside from Rhodey I'd put down two other suspects *Sharon Carter* (she subtly manipulated the events of Civil War, inspiring Cap to go rogue plus she has a connection to S.H.I.E.L.D and the FBI yet somehow she avoids becoming a criminal in the eyes of the UN ) *Sam Wilson* (if Rhodey turns out not to be a Skrull than Sam is the next best bet, in Winter Soldier he's inexplicably tough enough to survive a fall a Helicarrier with his parachute launching only a few seconds before he lands on his unbroken legs, then in Civil he's strong knock a helicopter away without explanation) Either Sharon or Sam turning out to be Skrull would hit Cap doubly hard as he values loyalty beyond anything: *"My faith's in people, I guess. Individuals. And I'm happy to say that, for the most part, they haven't let me down"* Steve is foreshadowing hard with his possibly ironic words.

That's not *entirely* true. Technically yes, Fury and Hill were scrolls all throughout the movie. But after that you see these scrolls calling and complaining to the *real* Nick Fury (assumedly so, I guess it's possible there's a second fake Nick Fury, but that seems a bit repetitive and somewhat poor in planning). So it sounds less like there's a scroll take over happening, and more like Nick Fury is working on storming in and making them his bitch. Or at least these two in particular. While there may be some hidden scroll reveals, I think they're more likely to become comedic foot soldiers than Earth invaders

When I thought about General Ross becoming Secretary of State, I realised the perspective he'd gained was about using a far simpler way to get what he'd always wanted: control of the Hulk. And with the accords, he'd get control of the rest of the Avengers too. So he didn't really change all that much: he just traded one uniform for another, and started using words as his weapons. BUT, as you pointed out, that CHANGE would be the perfect place for a Skrull to impersonate him ;)

Okay, I know Barton/Hawkeye/Ronin wasn't actually a skrull. But MatPat dismissed the possibility of him being one because of his vengeance driven reaction to his family being killed by Thanos snap. But aren't there at least a couple reasons why, even if he did turn out to be a skrull, he would still go on his quest for revenge? 1. Maintaining his cover. His family were a huge part of that. And even in "retirement", he still would have kept in touch with his friends and acted as a confidant. Since everyone knows how important his family is to him, him not going after the one responsible would be a huge red flag. 2a. Fake It Till You Make It syndrome. Basically, he spent so much time pretending to care for his "family" that it could have stopped being an act. Meaning their deaths would be a genuine motivation to avenge them. 2b. Alternate take on 2a's Fake It, Make It syndrome. If Clint was replaced before meeting his wife, then even as a skrull imposter, they would actually BE his wife and children. Meaning honest motivation for vengeance. 3. Not just Clint, but his wife as well, being a skrull imposter as a planted family unit. It helps maintain their cover, since our significant others are the ones closest to us, and the ones best positioned to spot out of the ordinary behaviors. Which, again, leads to a believable motivation for revenge.
