Actually, Matpat said that if he was to shrink too much, he would create a black hole but he also explained how Ant-Man reduces the distance from cell to cell. He can't become smaller than a cell because he is still made of cells. A black hole is created when something is shrunk to just a planck. You can't get smaller than that.

There is a flaw in this methodology, depending on your O rings the expansion has a chance of pushing Antman out Thanos's back door. It mostly depends on how far Scott goes in before growing and the abilities of Thanos's sphincter (though a weaker sphincter works save Thanos). It doesn't detract from the result, but it deserves mentioning.
