Hi MatPat! Now there is this show my younger sister watches called Gabby’s doll house and I think it would be a good theory! Story: My sister was watching it when I noticed that gabby’s room have zero doors, it made me think she was maybe in a coma and all the little cat people are her family trying to wake her up, and she might have gone in a coma as a young child who adored cats. More evidence is that we never were introduced to her first finding the magical dollhouse meaning it could have always been there until Gabby went in a coma. Please consider this theory❤

There is just one problem here, the diagnosis, yea sure the kid COULD have what they said but it could also be Cushing’s or Osteogenesis Imperfecta or something else entirely, the way i see it they just picked whatever horrible condition they could find and ran away with it, finding symptoms that are common for alot of other diseases and convincing students like you that this is the only thing they could have, the reality here is that the days where you could diagnose someone just by looking at them are long gone, now the only thing that determines whether this poor kid has HPP or something else is tests and without doing one there is no way to know what he has.

Hi, mom here who also has a son that drives her crazy with Cocomelon. Question: since all of JJ's friends also has only the upper front teeth do they all have HPP? Have they perhaps built a community for parents with kids that have this disease? And thank you MatPat for addressing JJ's age, I have made several comments about how it makes no sense. I kinda feel like I have been heard now
@yorelyoung640711 ай бұрын
That actually makes a lot of sense. Think about it. Imagine being in an environment where JJ grows up around normal people. He would stand out then be bullied for looking weird. However if somebody makes a community for these children with HPP then they'll be in an environment where everyone accepts them. They'll be able to live somewhat normal lives.
@1smene11 ай бұрын
Exactly what I thought! Even Cody and Nina have 2 front teeth on top
@yorelyoung640711 ай бұрын
@@1smene I don't think you realize just how dark the implications are. In the CocoMelon universe, HPP is so ridiculously common that they had to make an entire town to give them a normal life! This is hereditary so in the future the children of these kids will have an even HIGHER chance of getting it. But what would be in it for the town maker? Why would they do this? Research subjects of course. The entire town is most likely a government funded research site. Think about it: Have you ever seen the parents go to work? Now I haven't watched it but chances are that they don't. Although, Even if they do they could be faking it. They could just be giving the scientists their reports. Think about that!

one major flaw in the whole language and dexterity point is that JJ is also a child who has been taught sign language his entire life, so not only would his development of words likely be more vast, but his dexterity from his fingers would be more developed. Not to mention, you accounted for JJ's height to prove that he's too short, but I didn't see you account for the other people in the family's height since they would presumably be average size if they don't all have the disease, because if they are average height then JJ's design can be more attributed to the way he looks rather than some random disease. I feel like there are a bunch of other theories that could have held more ground to come up with, this one wasn't much fun.

Mat: If two people have the same hair color, it means they are related Also Mat: Babies sometimes have different hair color than their parents
@s271a11 ай бұрын
That's an error in logic you have made there. 1st Statement: (Deductive Reasoning) Correct: Major Premise: In the context of the video, people with the same hair color are related Minor Premise: 2 people have the same hair color. Conclusion: They are related. Incorrect: Major Premise: People who are related have the same hair color. This is wrong because the major premise is false. Comparing the 1st and 2nd statement, you can see that it is part of a bigger set. Both groups mentioned in such statements are subset of people who are biologically related, meaning that the 1st statement does not contradict the 2nd statement. For example, imagine a family with two kids. One kid got their brown hair from their mother, while the other got his blonde hair from their father. However, that doesn't mean that the first kid and their father are unrelated due to difference in hair color. Same can be said to the second kid and thier mother. Of course, this is largely simplified, but it proves the point. *These 2 statements can be true at the same time.* However, I do agree that there are flaws in Mat's reasoning. After all, it's just a theory.

I just wanted to say, my brother (who is not adopted) Was born with COMPLETELY blond hair even though everyone in my family has brown hair. Later in his life his hair grew to be a dirty blond.

This actually reminded me of a kid in my elementary school. He was a few years below me, but he had something known as ED(in Dutch, I don’t know the full name) which caused him to get sunburnt really quickly and caused him to lose his teeth. He was really cool, and I hope he’s doing well

There is something I wanted to make note of that I noticed, and for reference I am a graduate student currently working on my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Given what I saw in this video along with a few other clips from tiktok (because I do not want to sit through these whole songs), JJ actually has every sound in his phonetic inventory within the American English language except the glottal stop. Typically children are not able to correctly articulate all of the American English consonants until between ages 5 and 6.
