Yvette Mimiuex is such a beautiful actress. 😊 She was captivating as the Eloi, Weena, in the 1960 film, “The Time Machine”, and it still leaves me enraptured to watch her on screen. RIP Ms Mimiuex, who left this world in 2022.

This TV series was on in 1959 to 1961 - I was 10 years old in 1959 and this and Outer Limits and The Twilight Zone used to scare the daylights out of me. Back then after the sun went down our neighborhood was pitch black except for street lights at the corner streets making the night extremely dark and spooky.

So remember with great fondness those early days. What I consider to be the greatest old-school Sci-Fi in order are: (1) Metropolis, (silent film 1919), (2) Bride of Frankenstein (1935), (3) Forbidden Planet (1958), (4) The Time Machine (1960), (5) The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957). If you haven't seen these you have not seen classic Sci-Fi at its best.

Whilst clowns are ostensibly figures of fun, there can be a sinister reality behind the make-up and the mask. Clowns are often creepy and disturbing as a result of this, something that has been exploited in movies over the past 40 years. I was never too keen on clowns as a child, I must say, even though in reality many of them are harmless.

The husband was a bun and she was thinking about changing him in. She seemed to be looking fir everyone's else's attraction. He shouldn't have killed her. She acted like a 12 year old girl.

Was not one of my favorite episodes...EXCEPT who doesn't enjoy looking at Yvette Mimieux. I hang around through the episode just to watch her move around. Wow, just gorgeous. Oh, he called her cheap? All she asked for was a dang candy bar.

Oh come on he did great selling it, he played the character so convincingly even 70 yrs later ppl are still commenting about how it makes them feel. Yes she was a hottie, but he could act his arse off too. I bet you wanted to punch him through the screen didn't you? That's called a great performance

Back when men knew how to grab hold of a woman, and toss her around until she bends to his will... Amazing what passed for normal back in the day.

This was BEFORE The Twilight Zone. No Copy. There was also Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Thriller with Boris Karloff. ALL Before The Twilight Zone.

@@robertpiekosz7470This is very, very much correct. I have a DVD set of this show and in it, it says Before The Twilight Zone, there was One Step Beyond. Also, your host to the strange and unexpected, John Newland also directed a couple episodes of The Twilight Zone to, and he directed an episode of the Original Star Trek series first season to, Errand Of Mercy. Trivial facts and information here for you on this.

both are shiddy to eachother, so weird how people are interpreting only one being shiddy. we live in an age where people are so far up their own butts, huffing their own farts to a point where brain damage occurs, and you can only see one single side to anything.
