@@stickjohnnyIt's a perfect ending of Steve Rogers as he won the battle so that's why he returned. Its all because of Tony Stark whom he always fights. He teached Captain "How to live a life"and Cap teached "How to Sacrifice". Tony created Time Machine and it becomes easier for Cap to live his life with Peggy that he losted and wants to come back to her. I know we all hurted that Cap is gone but he also deserves his personal life than a Soldier. So Cap did right to go back in time🔥🔥💯💯

Tony and Steve go on opposite journeys. Tony starts as a selfish one who thinks of nothing but himself, and Steve is the selfless hero who will always put others before himself. But at the end, Tony was the one who "laid down on the wire and let the other guy crawl over him", something Steve said he would never do in the first Avengers. Tony became who Captain America was. And Steve finally got to think about himself. He got to live his life. He didn't have to shoulder the hero's responsibility anymore. He got to be selfish for once.

what he did doesn't change, a good example of that are flash's time remnants, as if two flashes exist in the same timeline, example flash A would travel to the past meeting flash B(A comes from a time after B), B then watches Flash A save someone but dying in the process, flash B has no reason to go back but Flash A's very appearance is what would stop him from being created because Flash B didn't fail in saving that someone. As result events were changed by an erased timeline(Flash A ) while Flash B's timeline is kept intact

I gotta give it to Anthony Mackie. When Sam has the shield, says it feels like someone elses and Cap says "it isnt", he really sells that internal conflict. I honestly can’t remember the last time I watched this scene. It was so good but heartbreaking because deep down inside I knew phases 4 and 5 will never live up to this level of perfection and hype again. Like the westerns, giant monsters, and universal monsters, The MCU has run its natural course and it’s running out of good storylines. Like the end of World War II in comic books the stories started getting stale and old, because the villain was defeated and we didn’t need superheroes anymore, just like here in the MCU. I don’t think Kang is going to be enough nor will Dr. Doom.

There was a damn theory that this is the old cap that has been running around the current mcu timeline. Cap of the present timeline didn't come back.. that is why time machine didn't act up. The old cap just walk in there and sit, he knows what to do to put the timeline back in full circle. It's fascinating if its true. Reminds mecof that one theory that StanLee is just cap. If you think about this it just make sense the sequence makes sense. That's why after old cap scene they show present cap who time traveled with peggy. One who never came back.. In that timeline the present cap went back to he was frozen and when he unfroze peggy already died then that's when he has to return so there's only one captain america. Always

He was able to pick up where he left off & in the event that history was affected too much, it would just create an alternate time line which wouldn't screw up " normal " history. IN theory, Steve could introduce the design for microcircuitry, transistors, other etc. & possibly make a fortune, as well ( ? ).

@@bernainmolina7481 There are huge plot troubles in that. Peggy Carter founded Shield. How not to tell her the entire organisation would be infected by Hydra? Unthinkable. Not Steve-ish. And if he WOULD tell her, the Winter Soldier thing won't have happened, the timeline would have changed and Steve wouldn't be possibly sitting there on that bench. To clear this mess there would have been the need of an entire new Captain America movie, about returning the Stones and his new life in hide. Steve sitting there in this timeline involves: 1) Him not telling Peggy about Hydra infiltration in her Shield organisation (totally out of character). OR 2) Her knowing and not doing anything about it (totally out of character for her too). There must be a plausible explanation of this.... PLUS.... SHIELD is an INTELLIGENCE organisation. Doing background checks is routinary business. That the BOSS of the organization could be living with a man considered dead - Shield's super Agent n.1 Steve Rogers - without being exposed - is unworthy of even a Scooby Doo plot. Unless there is some explanation. E.G. (I am inventing) they tried but eventually let the timeline go this way on purpose - to prevent even more catastrophic endings. Say that, (for example) if they prevent the infiltration of Hydra, someone kills Doctor Strange's parents and Dormammu conquers the timeline. Something! But there is nothing, and it makes no sense.

By the movie's own logic, there's no way Steve would've ended up on that bench. By staying in the past, Steve would have created a divergent timeline and would no longer exist in the timeline the movie takes place in.

@@AmorphisBob From what I heard and this is my guess too, is that Older Steve travelled back just before Cap. America Steve started his mission to return the stones and was already on that bench, it just wasn't shown and perhaps Bucky had seen it hence why he instantly looked at the bench, he just hadn't called it out until after Sam panicked.

I have a few questions. Why didn't Gamora turn to dust like everything else associated with the Thanos from the past? When Steve returned the Soul stone why didn't Natasha come back? How did Quill know about Bowflex machines when they hadn't been invented yet?

Gamora was on our side so the stones didnt see her as a part of thanos army anymore, The soul stone wasnt ours so the sacrifice was Natasha and you cant bring back those sacrificed to Earn the soul stone even when you take it back, and Quill lives in space and knows so many things about different planets, Its likely He just went and got one after seeing them

Let's do the math. Steve was in his 20's, when he froze. He was active for ca 15 years between defrosting and Endgame. Then he lived a quiet live from ca. 1950 to Endgame again. Old Steve is between 110 and 120 years old, not counting the frost years.
