Can I just say, that's a ton of work that you guys had to do for 7 minute video. I don't think most of us appreciate how much work it takes to make good content. Kudos to you and the team!
@paradoxofgodexisting3 ай бұрын
You should see how filming a movie looks like... Imagine working for 12h a day for 2-4 months for 90 minute "video". And its more physical and chaotic. Of course, some movies take more than that to film and some take less, but 12h shift is standard, it becomes your whole life for a long time and for a lot of people, the crew is massive usually. It pays good, tho!

To whoever did the drone shots, nice work. Too many people do drones shots in static way alone, and relatively low to the ground, but the drone pilot actually did some very wide angle, higher altitude shots keeping up with the car at speed; that's the thing you normally only see from a helicopter shot. Well done!

25 people clicked dislike on this video and for the life of me, I can’t fathom why. What could someone possibly dislike here? Great work as always by Lucy and the Drivetribe crew. I love seeing the process as I’d already watched (and enjoyed) the finished video. The Alpine is a lovely car and I recall when James reviewed it on the Grand Tour.

I didn't click dislike, but please enlighten me a little bit, which part was interesting??
@mlautens3 жыл бұрын
@@aaronkastriotiseni1406 How the elements of the finished video were shot completely different from the sequence they were presented in during the final product. They had compensated for the change in lighting, I think, as I didn’t catch on that some bits shown earlier were actually filmed around 5:30. The fact that James was working off a script. It didn’t seem like memorized dialogue to me when I watched it. The efforts to coordinate shots between traffic was also interesting, I’ve often wondered where they find all the empty roads to shoot on. Off the top of my head, those were some bits I found interesting in this BTS video. Glad you didn’t click dislike! :)

I loved the final output for the Alpine - very pleased to see this behind the scenes! :-) ... I've been experimenting with attaching cameras to cars for work but keep getting micro-jitters (with other names too I'm sure) ... maybe sitting in the boot is the best plan - what is the Boot Harness you use? ... and is it 'legal'? Here in the Big D area, we have a quite nice town named "Royal Oak." I'm wondering just how old the pub is. Could our little town be named after the pub? Or, were both named because of King George's sanctuary tree back in 1660? Most likely, there was this tree... "Its large branches reminded Cass of the legend of the royal oak tree, under which King Charles II of England took sanctuary from enemy forces in 1660. Cass and his companions christened the tree, the "Royal Oak." And so Royal Oak received its name."

Hi Lucy. Can you make subtitles in any sort of mumbling words that people in DriveTribe said? I know you have done that in some parts but I think that's not enough. Cause as a non-native English speaker, I find it really hard to keep track. Or maybe I am not familiar with the British accent. If that's the case, just ignore this comment. Thank you very much!!!

So many people here in North America have such shit taste in cars. Everyone just wants an SUV because it is "high up". No one has any concept of what actually makes a vehicle good to drive, they just follow trends blindly and enjoy nothing. The only pleasure is the status symbol for them.
