It's sad! but I don't think they hate each other, I think they resent each other, they're heartbroken, and/or were heartbroken when it was clear for each of them that it was over, or that their relationship had to be over (each at their own moment of course) but for the e-mails they apparently sent to each other that went basically public record courtesy of a court leaking, they are still bleeding (metaphorically speaking) and a part of them can't fully grasp the fact that they are no longer together, they miss each other, intellectually they understand it, they know it's over, but it still hurts them, and of course each of them are legally fighting against each other, so that makes the healing process more painful in a way and a longer goal to achieve, but I don't think is hate... Of course they are not going to be back together, that would be a miracle, and after everything it happened at this point of their lives I don't think either of them think it's a good idea, or that they even want to do it despite how much they still feel like it's unbelievable that they're no longer together, and that that fact still hurts them, they miss each other, but again I think they both know they had to separate, and apparently contrary to popular believe they did had a period in their lives together as couple and with the kids in which they were genuinely deeply in love and happy and both of them (or at least one of them) really thought they were going to grow old together, which is incredibly sad (I said this bc of what those e-mails said)...

JB JB He DIDN'T fool around with her. Jen WANTED him to have an affair; said in her Vanity Fair article. Brad was TOTALLY *UPFRONT* with her that he was attracted to her. She told him to have a fling, get it out of his system, and return to her. She clearly did not respect her own marriage to give Brad permission like that, but Brad was upfront and moral and refused to have an affair, he knew it was wrong. So he left Aniston permanently, and not have an affair like Aniston suggested. Aniston wanted him to fool around and get it out of his system, but he was too moral and righteous to do that. Jen herself is a 3 times homewrecker, so its clear she had no respect for marriage or relationships anyway. Luckily, Brad did.
