Birdman is the best film I've seen this year, a huge thank you to everyone that was involved in the making of this truly fantastic experience. And thank you for uploading the Q and A, I've been wanting to talk about Birdman since I saw it last week and since my friends haven't made it to the picture show this video gave me just the insight I needed.

Alejandro G Iñárritu - Life takes care that all of us will fail in our solemn attempts to succeed and transcend, in our stupid ideas of transcendent art, or money making, or whatever importance we think we are. Life will take care to tell us no. And that I found it incredibly tragic, but at the same time beautifully funny. If you don't take life with that humor, not cynicism, you can't survive. Thats the only way we as human beings can survive laughing at ourselves a little bit and having a little better time

I was only 14 when this movie was released and I recall talk of my grandparents going to the cinema to see it, I’ve only just had the absolute privilege of watching this film like no other and I’ve been making art in multiple medias and it’s just been endlessly inspiring and enlightening in it’s melancholy, I cannot tell you how much I adore this film and the actors and actresses and Alejandro’s vision, this film was my introduction to many beautiful people and I’m just so grateful this film was made and exists… I’m also so jealous of my grandparents for getting to be stunned by seeing this masterpiece on the big screen ☹️💔

WOW man ,just wow. the clarity and introspection of innaritu has all manifested in these years, starting from babel,biutiful and now this birdman. i have not seen the film but i am anticipating something larger than internal life stuff here in this film. the 3 devise completely their own kind of films, with structure and compartment we all inhabit so unconsciously in our mundane life, and makes it interesting, engaging and refreshing. these amigos of west are sure leading themselves to be remembered 1000 years from now. they go beyond. hope michael keaton comes to be great as i have pictured him in my mind. race with oneself is always challenging and, exploring in the realms of unknown.

Now this was my kinda Q&A just perfect...Please Mr Alejandro González Iñárritu might you have a small role for me in your next film :) As a theatre actor first and a film actor later in life...I especially loved the way this film was shot and the fact that the actors had to rely on oneanother. When on stage, one is always aware of who you feel safe with and who you do not feel safe with. it appears they all had each others back and they needed to along with the camera, lighting and sound people...what a wonderful experience they all had...a real dream project for any creative type willing to leap.

It looks like a great movie. I've even heard that Keaton could be nominated for an Academy Award. So in the movie is the Birdman just a movie character he played or was he/is he an actual superhero? Every superhero has a villian, who is Birdmans enemy? Will this be like the Will Smith movie Hancock where he is washed up and has to get his mojo back.

@kaikingsland6 жыл бұрын
after riggan gets bandaged, his nose looks like birdman's. I think she was asking about the importance of that, the fact that he he looks very similar to birdman, his alter-ego, or rather, the embodiment of his own ego. I think it's especially interesting considering the fact that riggan then rejects birdman and tells him to fuck off.

@stregadisalem10 жыл бұрын
It's his film!! What the hell do you expect? It's his creative conception from start to finish. He can talk all he wants. If you're bored, jump to the next question. I find it a real treat that Inarritu is willing to let us in on his thought process and the behind the scenes details. Most other directors are vague and brief especially when the questions they get asked are as bad as these are.
