what I keep telling a couple of my friends who are mad about the Remakes "changing" is that, they're not. Not really. They're re-telling these stories in such a beautiful and high def way, whilst brilliantly weaving into them a new mystery. They're not changing the story, they're adding to it. It's not the same thing. Everything is still there. All the parts that made the original great, are all still there, and as good or better than ever.

I think it’s sapphire weapon, a lot of people were saying emerald, but I think that’s just because of the green haze in that scene. Tifa is seemingly swimming in something green, but in the first part you can see the blue and purple that sapphire had around his face and shoulders. Also, emerald was bipedal in OG and sapphire was a giant mermaid looking fish monster

WHOOOO YEAH!!! Seems Square-Enix is still making excellent progress in making FF7 Rebirth here! I've finally seen Vincent and Cait Sith again but still no Cid though. Also it looks like this is gonna be in February of next year, though I was hoping for January.

the only "saving" square needs is from their obsession with live service games FFXVI sold well (and will continue to do so with the two dlc), FFXIV is still doing well, Remake was a hit, the next Yoko Taro game will sell well, they're doing fine, they just need to stop funneling losses into a corporate buzzword trap (live service)

@@andyserizawa they're doing fine with XVI but not great. Its beyond me how trash liek XVI can even sell. 45FPS outside of combat, PS2 era side quests and it insults you difficulty wise

I things wont quite pan out the same as OG and the order in which you go places will be slightly altered. No wutai for example, as they are leaving that for part 3. Its supposed to start at Kalm, after a cinematic (end of trailer) which explains everything so far from remake and its supposed to end at the forgotten capitol (we all know what happens there). Which, if fleshed out as much as remake was, which it looks like, its going to be massive. Like beyond what everyone is expecting by a long shot. We have Weapons to fight, loads of minigames, chocobos to explore and find everything, battle arena, gold saucer... the 1st trailer shown an objective 11km away so its gunna be collosal! The only thing remake lacked was endgame content and superbosses. Thats not gunna be an issue here!! So excited :)

It's funny everyone so called fan of FF7. Watching most reactions they all know Alexander and Odin. But when Kujata showed up they really didn't know who the beast/summon was. I didn't use him much in FF7 but I know who he is.

I hope it is UE5 as well but they said they worked on it since the releases of Remake which makes it maybe a bit difficult to change from UE4 to UE5. But if what we saw is through with those 16500+meter to the next destination then UE5 might be the engine used since we know that UE5's main goal was to shortening time designing the world elements etc.. It could be either UE4 or UE5 for Rebirth but the 3rd game certainly will use UE5 and looking back at the Titan fight in FF16 they might really nail the fights against the weapons in FFVII.

15:59 This is called CGI. They are all the CGI designs that already confirmed by Square. You can definitely tell the CGI character designs by the in game cinematics even if the game looks incredible itself. Again, it’s UE4 pushed even beyond the PS4 or Intergrade.

Part 3 will probably actually just look like that in game. By the end of a console gen the graphics in game always look much better than the whatever UE tech demo was for each era (UE3,UE4,UE5 will be the same).

The monster cloud and sephy are fighting is the Materia Keeper, the one you get Trine enemy skill from in OG. It’s crazy that they’re fighting it together, seemingly in the flashback… BUT MAYBE ITS NOT THE FLASHBACK, WHO THE FUCK KNOWS?!? 😂😂😂
