Ofc people are attracted to a succubus. :D For me it is Ahri, the nine tailed fox. In this video you only see one of them tho, if i am not mistaken. They started this group as a promotion for ingame skins. Usually she doesn´t have crystal tails. ^_^ But I am glad, that the fans liked this so much, that they bring the group back, now with the new member Seraphine. As you mentioned it, she got a viral persona, like she is human. For example a twitter account. She resembeled a fan of this group, and now she made it in. Obviously she is still looking up to them, as you can see, when she glances on other members. She switches to chinese, not to korean tho. :)

The lady with the claws and snake-like tentacles, she's Evelynn. In game lore, she's a demon who preys on anything that can feel suffering. Animals, monsters, people. She likes to use the form of a beautiful woman to seduce unsuspecting men or anybody who's into women tbh. But she also can use any form depending on her target. She can turn into a woman, a man, or even a dragon. Then she tortures her victim as long as she possibly can to draw out as much pain as possible. In the KDA universe, she's the manager and member of KDA. And as you can tell she's the mature one that uses sex appeal the most The area she appears in is a catacomb full of statues. In the game she's an assassin style character that goes invisible and sneaks up to her target to take them down. Her being the manager of the group and her being an invisible assassin is referenced by her being in the dark catacombs, hiding in the shadows surrounded by depictions of her victims or the people she had to step on to get to the top of the industry. In the game she has the ability to rend her opponents with spikes, and you can see the statues are all impaled by them. Kai'sa, the one with wings, is the main dancer of the group. In the game she's a girl that got trapped in an alien dimension full of unspeakable horrors. You can see the area she's mostly in is a room with floating furniture and the shapes are flowy and curving. A lot of things referencing her position in the kpop group and her being constantly on the move and fighting for her life in a strange place in her game lore. Akali, she's the rapper. I'm not actually super sure how her area references her in any way. In game she's a ninja with a rebellious and reckless personality. Which is why her aesthetic is a bit agressive and has this street fashion type of thing. Ahri, the girl with the ears and tail. She's the visual of the group, and in game she's based on the korean nine tailed fox. The area she's in references this, being a beautiful and pristine throne room. Also the gold behind her throne have beautiful curling shapes and line emanating from the throne, like her nine flowing tails. Which we never got to see in this unfortunately. You can see the silhouette of it in the pink smoke for just a second before she emerges. The last one is Seraphine. I don't wanna speak too much on her cuz she's a bit of a controversial character. The most controversial in a long while. In KDA universe she's a rising star that was discovered by KDA. Which is why her area is a bedroom with stars above it. She was lifted into the stars like how she was lifted by KDA into stardom in her story. A lot of really neat bits Tho I'm curious as to why the one who likes to lurk in the shadows, Evelynn, got so many scenes showing her off. While Ahri, the visual, never got to show off her "full glory" so to speak with all her tails.

A lot of people miss this, but while she emerges from the smoke all of her tails are out then she closes them when she’s revealed. About Seraphine, a lot of people are upset about her for their own reasons but literally she’s a simple character with simple lore. But do to her whole character being a naive teenager that holds the souls of a dead culture is what makes people upset. It’s like... people forget she’s a teenager. She could literally be the most sheltered person in the world and could not know she’s causing harm due to her parents raising her in a “you’re our little light” lifestyle. She honestly believe she’s trying to help, but for whatever reason it seems to not fit in the lore? That’s literally a lot of anime protagonists with wide eyed ideals. She’s the only one that can hear them so why would anyone believe her if she said “hey these hextech crystals... I think they’re alive.” And if not that, people are upset that she’s a Sona echo. She really doesn’t not play like her at all. People were talking smack about her skin talking crap to the other members then when the MV came out they found out that she was just quoting the song. People already had their opinion on her before her release. It’s a bit frustrating, but I do see why hence why I wrote this.

Also on her set, that represents her teenager room, you can see a poster of "The Baddest" which is another song and lyrics video that KDA put out before.... which speaks to her lore as an aspiring fan of the group :) the details are amazing :)

Absolutely my favorite shot is early around 14secs in. When the text "Get 'Em" is on the screen and gets wiped by the character while simultaneously making it look like she is physically moving the camera to look at her. It looks great visually while also establishing a tone of control and confidence without feeling overpowering about it.

I know im late to the party but im always here for a fellow Evelynn appreciator. Evelynn is the one you like. In game she is a demon of pain. She feeds off the suffering she inflicts on others. She doesnt like to torment those who are already in pain. She likes to feed on those who have everything going their way, on top of the world, then she slowly peals everything away from them and then peals off their skin. One of her attacks is indeed a bunch of spikes. In KDA lore she is a Diva domineering popstar who has to have everything exactly her way. She's co founder of KDA and her lovers keep mysteriously disappearing. She is by fair my favorite in the group

Also, just a fyi, the Soloist was actually singing in Mandarin, while the rest of the vocals are English/Korean.

This is the 3rd single from K/DA There're 4 girls which is hero in game as you already know. The green hair girl is only here for featuring. First single came out in 2018 for skins you can purchase (so what they dress in mv is what you can purchase in game) but they blown up real hard. So Riot continue this K/DA project this year. Since world championship 2018 was held in Korea, they manage to use the most popular things from the country which is K-pop. And this year will be held in China so the green hair girl (new character in game and this is her debut) sing in Mandarin (Chinese). You may not interesting bc it's a lyrics video. Last year there're another visual band called "True damage" (Not K-pop or all girls group). The world championship 2019 was held in France so they portray it in MV and fashion. The skins they sold was collaborated with Louis Vuitton. K/DA wasn't the first band this game company created for selling the skins. The first band they created I'm pretty sure it's Pentakill. The music genre is nowhere near K/DA or True damge. athe first scenes of seraphine being foreshadowed she’s wearing the KDA headset that “Riot” and “Logitech” are collab on to come out with other items in early 2021. Also they collabed with a motercyle (wtf Idk how to spell) brand, “Ducati” to illustrate Akali’s bike. Much like how True Damage they collabed with “Louis Vuitton”.

My favouite shot is when they're in the final set and the camera swings from top left to mid right while they're doing the choreography, it looks as if the camera is attached to a drone or crane, the way they'd shoot this IRL. My favourite moment is at the end where Akali nudges Seraphine. Seraphine is the fan/new member, Akali is the badass of the group. It fits so nicely.

There's so much effort put into these productions to promote the game, as well as the World Championship this year. Some of the sets in this video are already being used as the digital studio they have the players at during the games. Look up any world championship games and they have very similar sets where the actual pros are playing.. pretty amazing

K/DA is like in a separate/alternate universe to the League of Legends one. The Champions have their own separate lore in this IRL universe and Seraphine(mintblue haired girl) is an aspiring singer/songwriter and she looks up to K/DA (the four other girls) and are her idols. She made a cover of their first song and she eventually got noticed by K/DA and asked her for a collab and to feature on this comeback. Basically this MV is like her story that's why you don't see her in with the other girls first. Their sets are in the floors inside that PS5 building. You can see her in some cuts stuck in her own "set" which resembles her room just listening to the song on her headset and was just singing along as a fan. Eventually, she was noticed by K/DA and was brought/lifted up and was given the opportunity to perform together with her idols at the top. :)

So the singer that comes in for the solo is Seraphine. Riot made social media account for her months ago. Her story is that she is a indie singer/songwriter that just moved to LA to look to get a break. KDA has always been her idols so she made a cover of the KDA song Popstars (which you can listen to on her Twitter.) Evelyn and Akali took notice of her and invited her to do More with them. Her scenes make more sense in that light. She starts out looking out the endow longingly, then rises up to stardom when she joins the rest of kda. Also her shot with Ahri on the throne she glances over in awe at Ahri. Then later the kinda joking nudge from Akali when she's trying to so a serious shot makes her crack up. Really pushing the young girl taken under the experienced groups wing angle.

As for my favorite shot is, it's the one where the girls are dancing but the set switches. I was always a sucker for stuff like that because if you do it in real life you have to have the same dance be performed in different places and then in post you have to match the position of the sweep. Love it!

She's also a demon tormenting people as others have pointed out. This has always impressed me how complete strangers to league of legends can make these accurate guesses. In this skin i think they reffered to Medusa , mostly because of the statues and her eyes including that she wears glasses most of the time . in game Evelynn's primary damage is an ability called hate spike where she raises spikes from the ground, thats the connection to the tormented statues. akali (rapper) has two skins for when she is visible and invisible, thats why she has two costumes in the video (motorbike outfit). ahri (tail girl) uses an orb which she throws at the screen before the first chorus. kai'sa and anti gravity i have no idea how the made the connection, maybe her flying wing things?

Her belt is like a demonic tail which make her deadly and her attacks involves erupting spikes upon her enemies. - Yes, the animation style is different in MORE versus POP/STARS (cel-shaded) and GIANTS (2D animated). - Yes, Seraphine has a Twitter account kinda like a viral marketing thing. She has a short comic series which explains how she's an indie musician who is a huge fan of K/DA. Sort of hard to tell which earlier league video you'd already seen, but here's the most notable ones, most are close to the quality of this (though they really went above and beyond in this one). Champion Origin Stories Kin of the Stained Blade - Tells the story of Yasuo and Yone, very long, but the way it dips in and out of anime/cgi is cool As We Fall - a mindfuck music video of a champion's origin of how a demonic entity trapped at the bottom of a well used a pair of lovers bodies to escape its prison, forging their minds and bodies into its own. Lazarus pits are hard. Annie Origins - absolutely crazy art style, takes "painterly" to new level It's a lot. I know. Even years after I stopped playing I kept coming back to check out the cinematics. Riot could probably start a record label, the worlds songs are usually fantastic and jump all over between genres.

You should keep in mind that RIOT creates a scene that fits THAT character...edgy look for Akali cause she's an assassin, Queen / Princess look for Ahri cause she's charming, Gloomy Dark for Evelynn cause she's a demon and cool contemporary look for kaisa in away that she looks an alien cause she got 2 different DNAs.

Here is part of the lore as I understand of K/DA. If I am wrong please let me know and correct me. K/DA is founded by Ahri (woman with the tail) with her co-founder Evelynn. Evelynn in the co-leader of K/DA. Akali is the lead rapper of the group and Kai'Sa is the lead dancer and choreographer of the group. Seraphine is an singer and a fan of K/DA who had a chance to sing with K/DA and she took the chance and was happy to be part of K/DA. Those things coming out of the back of Evelynn are her weapons. Out of the group Akali is my waifu.
