She didn't have cirrhosis of the liver. She had emphysema and her body was weak from her long time eating disorder. Her health was in poor shape due to her long time eating disorder she had since she was 16 years old and long time drug and alcohol abuse but her cause of death was alcohol poisoning.
@foxroxy866 ай бұрын
@@hwoods-kg1jf I think the emphysema was mild too. She could’ve had a normal long life if she had stopped drinking and addressed her eating disorder. Sadly, she didn’t get the chance.

When I read the details of her postmortem it mentioned nothing about cirrhosis of the liver. Her cause of death was complications from her eating disorder along with alcohol toxicity. Very sad, as she had been having long periods of not drinking. Shame she wasn’t able to beat it.

My sister was only 34 when she passed away from alcoholism due to kidney failure. The effects alcohol abuse has on a person's vital organs is very toxic & without treatment or help becomes deadly unfortunately. I do believe that Blake loved Amy, and that she lived Blake. Addiction just got in the way, and destroyed that. I've been there myself. And for those who say he used her for the money, well, he's proven that false when he divorced her. He was entitled to half her fortune, as there was no pre-nup, yet he stated that he wanted nothing from her. This alone proves that Blake did love Amy, and even though they were still a part of each other's lives for a while, he ultimately did what was best and cut all contact. Addicts together is a bad thing. You become addicted to not only the drugs, but also the drama that goes with it. You become addicted to each other, to the detriment of everyone involved. Blake couldn't have saved Amy. NO ONE could've saved Amy. Because, ultimately, Amy herself didn't want to be saved. It sounds harsh, but it's true.

Blaming him for her death is not fair. She knew that the hard drugs could make her life difficult. She had no responsibility for herself, she was in love, very much so. She couldn't set limits for herself when it came to alcohol and drugs. She was and will always be my favorite singer, a beautiful soul, a beautiful person. She should have recognized early on what was wrong with her. I miss you so much Thank you for being so authentic and emotional. Thank you for every song you sang... She seemed to sink all her self worth on men. Daddy left us but she still idolised him despite the only reason for him coming back into her life full fold was because of the fame. She idolised Blake but he frequently abused her because of fame. Amy was happiest when she was joined with either her dad or when she met Blake he became her main man. She relied on them to tell her what to do, I honestly think if Blake had told her she could fly she would have jumped out the window. Without a controller she felt lost and used alcohol to soothe abs numb her. She needed intense therapy and learning how to make decisions for herself rather than relying on people telling her what to do. RIP Amy

I do believe they loved each other. I also feel they are perfect match. The addiction and depression issues are not due to the relationship / love, but deeply rooted in their character. Instead of blaming Blake, I would say there were too many voices judging whether they should be together or not. Their parents, the public, Blake‘s ex / present wife. - they are the killer. Just leave the pair alone. Blake made Amy laugh, cry and feel alive. It is better than being numb. Some people choose to live a way which is unhealthy and lead to death. If they do not break laws or disturb other people, just don‘t tell them who they should love. It s their own choice. If Amy knows love leads to death, she may still choose to love Blake.

@@rosemimi973 I was about to say the same thing. If it wasn't for Blake, she would have never written 'Back To Black' at all. I think towards the end of her life, she didn't want to sing any songs off 'Back To Black' anymore because they had become redundant and irrelevant to her because her and Blake had long been divorced and she had moved on and singing those songs just drudged up her painful past with Blake. That's probably why at the last show she did all she did was cry and not sing and she was heavily intoxicated. Then the rest of her tour was cancelled and about a month later she died.

They were both addicts. Both of their parents wanted to lock them up and force them to get help. The problem with two addicts getting together is that they either die together, or one gets clean and the other doesn’t. They rarely get clean together, and stay clean. The problem is everyone wanted Amy to be the one who got clean and lived. Instead it was Blake who got clean and is alive. So that makes him a very very easy scapegoat.
