@@WhySteve getting help is not stopping you from doing something. Also supporting a creator that provides in the community for a decade is not a bad conciquence. Anyway you do you, just remember the scene from original film “fame” in the late 80s. In this particular scene, a student, who is an aspiring musician, introduces himself and his synthesizer to the class. The teacher responds critically, suggesting that the student’s solo performance on the synthesizer is self-indulgent. Best of love and with best wishes

Of course I don't mind supporting creators. And of course, getting some help with assets is definitely a time saver. But I feel like I'd learn more and achieve more by creating these assets myself than to just download a pack and stick it onto my work.

Long time fan! 2 quick questions. I know u work in AE primarily, but could u pull off this same effect in FCP now with the newer tools added from Motion VFX Cinema studio? And what does turning a layer 3D do as opposed to just move and scale an effect? Much love 😁🤙🏽

For the 3D layers it makes them move correctly relative to the camera track, but if the shot had a static camera then you can just move and scale in 2D

Hey you can use the displacement map effect or vector blur effect as alternatives, they will look different and not have the chromatic color separation like Red Giant but there's I think at least one Film Riot tutorial using the vector blur effect with Infinity Pack assets
