These episodes aren't unbearably long like some true crime shows which spend half of their hour-long episodes repeating information over and over again.
@audreymuzingo933
@audreymuzingo933 Жыл бұрын
YES, made for hour-long spots on television with commercials, so the repeated information was to refresh people's memory if they forgot everything in those 2 minutes, LOL. And it seems even more ridiculous if you watch those shows without commercials, sometimes they literally repeat the same sentences of narration, where a commercial would have been in-between. Forensic Files is awesome. Granted some of the cases they've done were actually so complex and 'epic' in real life, that F.F. had to leave out some details just to fit it into the 22 minutes. -Those are ones where a longer documentary would be better. But at least F.F. doesn't treat viewers like we have the intelligence and memory of a goldfish, LOL.

Helena was a great scientist being so intelligent and had a great future ahead of her in a good company. Her future was bright for her if it were not for David Frediani’s vile and diabolical actions to murder her so she couldn’t testify against him. He thought he was not gong to prison because of the sexual assault against Helena, but he was wrong, dead wrong. It is good to know that he was convicted and sent to prison. Rest in peace always Helena. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

@@January.o ur blaming her? Nice. You DO realize that people left their windows open and doors unlocked cause things were hella different back then? I have a few questions here I hope someone can clarify me : First how could he travel to San Diego while he was out on bail? As I know, someone who is out on bail is not allowed to cross state. So if he is using a different identity how could police place him in the incidence spot. The car involved in an accident doesn't mean that he was the driver. Secondly, how can he be freed even with the physical finger print evidence that matches him? She couldn't identify him due to his mask and lack of lighting but that's okay since the physical evidence is more important than that. Still why couldn't they charge him?
@totalpefectionisto
@totalpefectionisto 2 жыл бұрын
They did charge him and the case was set to got to trial and that's why he killed her. Also, the trip from San Francisco to San Diego is not crossing state lines.

Shawn Carter. First, San Diego is located INSIDE the state of California, this is how David Frediani traveled from San Francisco to San Diego.
@zuzellogan5613
@zuzellogan5613 Жыл бұрын
Shawn Carter. Secondly, Investigators and prosecutors couldn’t charge this perpetrator, David Frediani, because at that time, DNA didn’t exists and if they performed any kind of testing on Helena Greenwood’s nails, it would have destroyed the little evidence they had, which later on, when DNA was available, proved to convict this murderer. This is why David Frediani couldn’t get convicted in the first place…..only after the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) was available, this man was convicted. PCR is a type of testing that duplicates very tiny, almost invisible to the human eyes blood specks making it possible to test and get DNA results.

I thought that it was the same all over the world until I started watching Forensic Files. For a country with such crime rate and where people live solo or as a very small family you should take steps to safeguard yourself.
