@@warshipsatin8764 Richmond, VA is heavy in violence but it’s not necessarily gang violence. Gangs aren’t all that popular in the city, much like nearby Washington D.C where I was born n raised near. I lived in Richmond for 8 yrs so I know a great deal about the places. Crime was worse in the 80’s & 90’s generally speaking. While there are a few gangs, it’s not like Chicago or LA which are gang-riddled. There’s a ton of hard drugs like coke and heroin, and alot of ghetto and projects, and just overpopulation in general, which stems much of the violence. Homelessness is also a big issue

Any murder is bad (outside of rightful self-defense), but there's something about the murder of a young woman just minding her own business trying to become something. Why bother her? Who are they to stop her progress through life? It's awful to happen to anyone, of course, but maybe because I can understand someone who has no drama, just minding their own business, obeying the law, living their life quietly alone, trying to be something, so I feel extra resentment towards it.

Great forensic Condolences to dawns mother. My heart goes out to her. I lost my youngest daughter to cancer 23 years ago. He was on parole for rape? That means he didn't even serve the full sentence for that crime. I guess he figured he wouldn't get caught for this one if he killed her. And she had no idea what kind of monster lived in her complex. He was so scared of the Death Penalty that he pleaded GUILTY. What a disgusting human being.
