I agree the episode was rushed but: 0:25 she literally ran to the computer and unlocked them. The other shot later shows Wrecker unlocked the other one by force. Because he’s the crazy crazy strong clone. 0:30 Ye, Hemlock knew she would come for them so he was waiting for her. The entire episode he kept pointing out that the only weakness of clones is their loyalty to one another. She escaped once and did not leave Crosshair behind, of course she would come for them again. All he had to do was wait. The entire episode he pointed out he was ready for this whole rescue mission. 0:37 He did not wait for her to unlock them but he knew she’s coming. So yes, he was maybe a bit late but clearly no worries since he had his super clones. He was arrogant, thinking they had no chance. 0:50 Why would he let her do that? Because he needed her. Not them, he needed her. The only place he knew she would come was where her brothers were. The easiest way to capture her. 1:00 Crosshair had PTSD, it's that simple. The fact that they said it's not physical and he did meditation with Omega was all the answers you need to solve this mystery. He actually lost his shooting hand and managed to take the most important shot with his other hand. That was the point - to show you that a soldier can overcome a trauma from war. And he managed. And he in the end took the most important shot of the show with his other hand. 1:44 Hemlock's hand has nothing to do with Crosshair, he's just a villian, this is to show he's an absolute psycho. He had his one gloved hand in S2 already. Yes, maybe there was/is a story behind it but why would you call it a plot hole or something stupid that affects the finale of the story? 2:50 How did they get to Crosshair? What do you mean how they got to him? They tortured the shit out of him to a point where he would do anything (ANYTHING!) to avoid that planet until it came to the point where they had no other options but to go back in order to save Omega. What did they do to him? Tortured him, causing him to be mentally destroyed and have PTSD. Boom. Even his physical appearance in this season is a giveaway of what he went through. 3:50 Maybe Hemlock's got a fake hand. Yes, it's Star Wars, people get robotic hands, we got used to that now. It's not stupid at all. It's stupid to dwell on it and say the finale was stupid because Hemlock holds his gloved hand.

Crosshair has PTSD which affects the nervous system hence the shaky hand. Hemlock’s hand is supposed to indicate he experimented on himself and is nuts. It’s a real thing mad scientists have done before. The writers trolled the audience a lot with this show with theories but stuck to what was important. Don’t overthink the unanswered things. It’s good to leave a bit of mystery.

@@StarWarsDiscovered I liked CX-2 to be a reg. Hemlock DID experiment on himself. We found out in season 2 when Crosshair tried to leave. The PTSD was heavily indicated in Episode 12 season 3

I think the ending is pretty rushed. There are obviously some plot points that begs a explanation which was never addressed.

I agree, I also think that Disney played it too safe keeping everyone alive and killing off Scorch like that.

4:02 They never explain it? I am puzzled why people need a clear explanation for anything nowadays in movies. Do you want some to actually say it out loud? In early episodes they explained it’s not physical and suggested it’s mental (hence the meditation). You know it’s from war and torture. It clearly did things to him, his a different man. That’s all the explanation we needed. What’s important to the story is that for x number of episodes he (a pro sniper) struggles to hit the target and is scared to hit Omega. Yet in the end, he actually takes the perfect shot and saves her with his non-shooting hand. 4:20 The shooting hand. Yes, so this was said out loud so that the audience remembers that THIS was his shooting hand, the shaking one. Because we probably noticed in the previous episode he’s got a shaking hand but can we remember which one? Because it will be crucial in the final scene where saves Omega. 4:30 Never answer directly. Yet hinted at the entire season. Torture. I guess they did not show it to a) save time and b) not to show proper torture scene in a Disney+ show. 5:25 A wall made out of lego. You know you are watching a Disney+ show and not a real life documentary, right? There’s a lot of things in Star Wars that don’t make sense (the whole destruction of the two Death Stars? Things blowing up in space like this?), this is one of them. Do you really think the finale was stupid because of that? Even if they came up with a more realistic scenario of her escaping, the point you should get is that she was a useless child and she became a capable soldier, an independent person, a leader, someone who doesn’t have to rely on others, someone who’s willing to take risk and not just wait for rescue. That’s her character development and a lego wall has pretty much nothing to do with it. The idea here is that she’s capable, smart and brave enough to take action. Whatever the action is. 6:44 So many unanswered questions? Again, I think this is exactly what’s wrong with Star Wars people on KZbin. You need answers for everything. EVERYTHING. Not everything needs to be answered (or it can be answered indirectly or even later in different shows). What’s important is a story coming from A to Z, with a good ending and good characters’ journey. If there’s one show that does it perfectly, it’s the Bad Batch. 7:35 Do you always dwell on silly details like that? How do you enjoy a show or a movie? Seriously wondering. 8:10 The screwdriver did not reprogram the droid, Omega did. One scene earlier. The screwdriver pushed a button to activate whatever Omega wanted it to activate - the stab. And the 10 seconds problem? First of all, not everything that is 10s on the screen is actually 10s in the story but I think the way you should look at this is that she’s rather capable with droids. Again. You shouldn’t be wondering HOW she managed to do that but the fact that because she spent so much time with soldiers she learnt a thing or two. This is not a plot hole. This tells me that you want to watch a real life crime show and help to solve a triple murder by dwelling on details. You are watching an animated show from a made up galaxy on Dinsey+. Just saying. 9:30 Again, this is Star Wars logic. It’s silly, it’s not realistic but we all know it. We all know R2 can open ANY doors and access ANY computer when needed. We know force can be used when needed but not when it suits the plot. We know you can survive a lightsaber stab even when we know it doesn’t make sense. In this case, there was a lever because she needed the beast to get out. Did you want them to spend 10 minutes of the finale showing you how she figured out the computer? No. All you need to see is here pushing a number of buttons and then letting the beast out by pulling down a lever.

10:20 It doesn’t kill the whole finale, you just did not like it. The rest of us understood that your Crosshair question WAS actually answered, that not everything needs to be answered in a story and that Star Wars is a scifi that doesn’t always make sense. 10:30 The Empire knows they are there but the Empire doesn’t care about them at this point. Hemlock was after Omega, his reasons and secrets died with him because not even Tarkin knew what he was working on. The entire research was destroyed by Nala Se. The Empire now has no reason to go after them. Again, the point here was that they are done fighting, Omega is free, they can retire and do whatever they want, their clone duty is over. This could have been on any other planet. The planet was not the point here. 11:07 It was not. It was a good finale because a finale is an end to a story. The idea is to finish a story. And it did. And very well actually. Yes, it could have been longer, it was a bit rushed but saying it was not a good finale because you did not understand Crosshair’s condition? 11:28 The show actually did change the galaxy - Palpatine did not get to clone a force sensitive. 11:45 You do actually need to know about project Stardust. The entire show is meant to be a bridge between the prequels and the OT. It shows you how and why clones were replaced by hired soldiers who cannot hit a target. It shows you why and “the Imperial Senate will no longer be of any concern to us” etc. You actually did need to know this more than you needed to know why Crosshair’s hand was shaking. 12:00 Yes, we don’t think about these things. We watch and enjoy the show. We watch documentaries and scientific videos when we want to care about what’s realistic and what’s not. 12:27 But the walls were made out of lego because that’s how someone wrote it. Probably because if they were made out of a proper material, we would spend one episode just watching Omega digging a tunnel and you would later make a video calling it a bloody filler. The walls were not supposed to be the takeaway from the finale. Same with the droid, same with the number of people watching a group of people. Stranger things had happened in Star Wars before, no need to call it stupid or create KZbin content around it. 13:49 Because they age twice as fast and they would be old. And because they all fought enough and chose not to 14:33 Echo was a reg. He continued going after other clones and doing things for the clones and returning the children. The Bad Batch was always different and never hung out with the regular clones (as mentioned in Clone Wars season 7 when they first appeared). So this actually is a nice end for them - they again don’t follow other clones but do their own thing. This time just enjoying retirement in a nice place because they’ve been through a lot and had enough. 14:38 Part of what? They were always a weird unit that was not part of the rest of the GAR. 14:50 The point is - you know about the OT and you don’t see them in the OT. So you know they won’t be part of the rebellion unless more content is made. So it was beautifully closed for them but can be picked up anytime with Omega. It was a beautiful ending because knowing the OT and other rebellion content you were thinking they will all die. The whole show was made to connect the prequels times with the OT times by focusing a group of individuals and their journey of finding out there’s more than just a war and there is life without fighting and about becoming a family - a very Star Wars theme. 14:56 Why not? It actually makes perfect sense. Were all other clones part of the rebellion? The BB only fought the Empire because they were saving Omega who became their kid. Crosshair even joined the Empire willingly. They were not trying to destroy the Empire, they were trying to get on with their life after the war, getting jobs here and there and only ended up fighting the Empire because the Empire was after Omega. It’s even hinted they are done with fighting and won’t do it anymore because they have no reason to. On top of that, not every soldier wants to fight for the rest of their life. In the case of Crosshair, I am sure he was done with war. 15:00 Rex was part of the Rebellion way later, not in this show. Then he enjoyed his retirement in the middle of nowhere doing nothing as you mention. Until he’s urged to join the Rebellion. You made a 16 minutes video saying how things were stupid instead of saying you did not like it/get it.
