Skeleton Crew is the first show that I'm willing to purchase companion pieces for if they release them. I liked how Jod stayed consistent being greedy and that it was his own greed that did him in. The background information was nicely done, it helped with understanding his motivation without invoking sympathy for the character.

In Shadow of the Sith when Anakin's ghost appears he flip flops a bit between his younger and older selves. Anakin used a good deal of his essence to save Luke in that situation so he wasn't completely in control but I think the implication is that yes the ghosts can generally look how they choose.

It would make sense if Padmé appears in a flashback at best. Aside from Padmé appearing as a Force Ghost via Anakin, it would *not* make any sense if she was resurrected. Padmé would hate what the New Republic has become.

I don’t see any reason they couldn’t just release the scene as a bonus/deleted scene somewhere. Could either put it right in with the show or have a separate spot on D+ for “Deleted Scenes from Star Wars” and could even put up Acolyte and Mandalorian stuff and whatnot. Like, pretty sure literally no one would complain about that, except for maybe the complaint of, “Why wasn’t this in the show?!” / “This should’ve been in the show!”

The world between worlds was a stupid idea and the single worst plot contrivance that has ever had the misfortune of being conceived. Not only does it break more than it fixed, in the wrong hands which seem to be the only hands that are connected to Star wars anymore, it can very easily ruin everything. One of the things that was disappointing with the sequel trilogy is that we didn't get the cast together. I think what we could get here is maybe a 2 or 3 episode story set in the clone wars with everyone in it. I think we could get ahsoka, darth maul, mace windu, anakin, obi-wan, padame, and maybe a young baylon skull altogether in the clone wars. I mainly think the reason that they did the obi-wan vs vader fights in obi-wan was because we didn't get a luke vs palpatine fight in the sequel trilogy.

As far as Nina Nawood & her sequence is concerned, the entire series did not include a single flashback, as events happened one after the other, so including a flashback would be against the series’ tone and that inserting one in the finale would’ve worked against the pacing.

I don't think Padme will return. I think that there may be some sort of force vision quest that Ahsoka goes on where Anakin and Obi wan show up but I doubt any other characters are returning.

I don't think issue is with Skelton the real problem is disney star wars and that the company hasn't done much with correcting their mistake and getting rid of kathleen kennedy and decannozing the sequel trilogy and essentially star wars is dead. So there is nothing particularly wrong with the skeleton crew as a show. In terms of 2nd season it might happen though they might have the creative staff to work on something different and they might bring jod back in another new republic show

Star Wars was about the fall of Anakin Skywalker and his redemption through his son. I don’t think any of the live action projects we’ve seen from Disney have come close to resonating as much as that story, or even come close to replicating the style in which it was told. I just feel like doing these movies without George there to oversee it is complete folly. It would be equivalent to Amazon publishing new sequels to the Lord of the Rings books without the creative involvement of Tolkien or his estate. What’s the point?

As much as I would want to see Palme return I kind of feel like that would ruin the whole point of Padres love through Luke Skywalker that brought ankin back to the light would kind of ruin the whole point of Padres love for ankin through Luke Skywalker being what brought ankin back through in choosing love over power to save his son from the emperor sence Luke was the last memory of Padmes love for ankin that brought ankin back through Vader because ankin buried underneath darth Vader knew he couldn’t save Padme but he knew he can save her son and that was what could Vader to choose love over power and save his from the emperor because he couldn’t let palpateen kill his son that was like the last memory of padme that cared for ankin through Luke which is ultimately what brought ankin back from the dark side but it was also Luke love and compassion for his farther that his farther could be redeemed that saved ankin in the end too and Luke Skywalker believing that Jedi can be rebuilt and changed I believe made ankin very proud of his son because ankin knew Luke could succeed where the Jedi failed and Luke ability to do the unthinkable thing ankin couldn’t do and resist the dark side and chose the path of the Jedi and declare himself a Jedi like his farther before him I believe also caused Vader to turn back to the light so I believe padme coming back I feel would kind of undue Luke being the last memory of padme that ankin couldn’t let die causing him to choose love over power and save his son for the emperor and then bringing padme back I kind of feel would undo most of Luke and ankins arc from return of the Jedi so I believe it’s not a good idea to bring back padme because I feel it would undo most of the work of Star Wars return of the Jedi so because of that I kind of don’t want padme to return and that’s just it as much as I would like padme to return but padmes return being what undues some of the work of Star Wars return of the Jedi through Luke that kind of is the only reason that I feel causes to not want padme to return because I have my doubts on how that could affect padmes love through that causes Vader to turn on the emperor the moment palpateen threatens to kill Luke the last memory of padmes love that Vader / ankin only has at this point is what caused Vader to turn on the emperor and save his son proving that padmes love for ankin didn’t die in vain after revenge of the sith in Star Wars return of the Jedi that’s the only reason why I don’t want padme to return in Asoka season 2 because I believe that could undoe some important work from Star Wars return of the Jedi that’s why I don’t want her to come back

I respect all opinions, information and updates. However, I can't accept any defense of Disney Star Wars, and the complete and utter trash and garbage Lucasfilm creates, produces, and releases. I believe "Andor" and "Ahsoka" were commissioned by Disney for two seasons no matter what the ratings were for each show's 1st season. Disney's ratings for their TV shows are abysmal, yet Lucasfilm continues to produce and release content. This brand is dead. Even I, a huge SW fan has "left the building". I can't subscribe to a channel who continuously praises "Skeleton Crew (SC)". IMO, as everyone is entitled to their opinion, "SC" wasn't Star Wars. If DF would bring back Padme through a "World between Worlds" cameo or if they further ruin canon making her a force ghost, even hardcore Disney Star Wars fans will start to walk away. Disney has changed what the force is, there's no way of knowing what subsequent shows will do to the force legend. DF, KK, and even JF need to be let go, don't make any SW content for a decade, and then hire a new team that has talent and restart. That will never happen. It's amazing Disney stock is still selling at $109 today 1/21/25. It's too big to fail even with Lucasfilm losing money on almost every Lucasfilm project. it's a shame and a tragedy.
