Hang the Moon is very good. Louise Erdrich is great. I read The Round House first and loved it.

I really liked Hang The Moon, but it's a topic that needs an interest. I received it from Netgalley. I preordered The Courting of Bristol Keats and received a vellum of the couple. Had no clue what it was though, it just showed up in the mail. I finally did a photo search which led to a reddit post. Couldn't read much of anything, but enough to realize what it was, lol. I picked up Impossible Creatures and fell in love with all the eye candy. I found The Last Dragon On Mars, another Middle Grade, but it's a beauty too!

Out of My Mind is so good! I think kids (and adults) can learn so much about the main character's particular disability-I need to more mindfully include that representation in my reading.

I know you haven't seen the movie but The Shining book is very different than the movie. I know King hates the Stanley Kubrick's version but I think it's better (I KNOW). Excited to hear your thoughts!
