When u leave they take back all the uniform . Do they count every piece you are returning. U know as picky as they . Like some jobs hold your check until you return your complete uniform …

You’re expected to return the same number of uniform items that were issued to you when you joined the company. If you bought any extra uniform pieces during your time there, they won’t ask for those back. For example, they give you one hat, and you need to return one hat. I had two because I was initially given a size S, but later I bought a size M since the S didn’t fit well when I did a French twist hairstyle 😁 So yes, they count the items, but it’s based on the initial stock they issued)

@@greatcesarsghost I think selling uniform items is disrespectful to Emirates, to your own past and to the uniform itself. I know some people do it, but it’s not for me, sorry)) It’s a nostalgic reminder of my past and I wouldn’t sell it 😅

So many crew members film on board preparing the galley and so on. Is that not allowed.

@@jezd9787 no, on Emirates is not allowed. I know of only one EK crew who filmed galley preparations (Amanda), and because of her video where she baked a cake, her colleagues got into trouble-particularly the senior crew and those in economy class (she was not fired only because she already resigned at the time of posting that video) . Moreover, it’s not only prohibited to film while working, but it’s also not allowed to use a personal phone onboard unless it’s a company-provided device. For example, I worked in business class and had company-provided iPhones for service purposes, but personal phones were strictly prohibited. By the way, about the “cake girl”: she resigned a long time ago but continues posting as if she still works for the company 🤷‍♀️

@@greatcesarsghost Google “Emirates teddy bear in cabin crew uniform”, the first link will take you to the Emirates Official Store. You can buy it online there, or if you’re based in Dubai, you can purchase it at the offline store in Emirates Headquarters (Emirates Metro Station). The one they are selling now is a bit different from mine because they have a new design, and mine is a bit older (I bought it more than 3 years ago)
