@ It depends on your flatmate 😬 Officially, no, you can’t. But I know many people who have cats, and some even have dogs. However, if your flatmate complains to the company, they will notify you that you need to relocate the pet and give you a specific time period to do so 🤷‍♀️

Hey, thank you for your kind words)) To remove scars, you can try special gels or bandages, but they mostly work on fresh scars and help them heal less visibly. For older scars, laser removal is a better option. For facial hair removal, I’d also recommend laser treatment (you’ll need a full course for permanent results), or you can opt for monthly temporary solutions like sugaring or epilation. I don’t have a problem with facial hair, but I deal with it on other parts of my body, so I’m speaking from personal experience 😂 Good luck with your dream ✨

Hello thank you soo much for all your help but I have something to ask you about please if someone know something about this topic please help me I have an assessment day with emirates after 4 days and I don’t know what to do do basically I applied for emirates and they invited me to the assessment day but I couldn’t join unfortunately in that day bc the location was far away from me I send them an email back explaining for them my situation and they said that they didn’t have any available location now they kept sending me another location but this last time they tell me in the email : Upload photos to your profile as per our photo guidelines , as a a form of preparation and without this step your application can not be processed…I really didn’t know what they mean did I need to upload new photos or what exactly bc when I applied I already uploaded my pictures there .. !!

Hey, Have you ever seen a flight attendant with hearing aids??? Cause i have a hearing problem in one ear... but i'm not using hearing aids rn... i still can hear just like normal people... but sometimes i can't recognise which side that sounds are coming... so i am going to wear a hearing aid... I am asking bcz i love this job soo much... btw i'm 19 :)

No, unfortunately, you must be certified by an aviation doctor and have perfect health to do this job, including good hearing. Many signals on board are auditory, and you need to hear them properly without any devices. Additionally, it is very noisy on board. I wouldn’t recommend considering this job if you already have hearing problems. First of all, I don’t think you would pass the medical examination with any aviation authority, and secondly, flying could make the problem even worse due to noise, pressure changes, and the high possibility of barotrauma. The only exception Emirates allows is glasses, but even then, vision problems must be minor.

@ Oh, this is awesome, good luck with your new journey 😊 For training, you don’t need much: bring black classic trousers, black loafers, and a black bag to pair with your red polo. Also, take something from home to make your accommodation feel cozy, like a piece of home to help with homesickness 🫶 You can even decorate your room with your favorite photos of family and friends. Don’t worry, though, you’ll make great friends during training, trust me 🥰👌

hi ginger, first of all thank you for the very informative and detailed video regarding the training and all of it, but i got some questions to ask, 1. what happened if after you arrived at emirates and when it comes to the medical check up week and you were told unfit for it for example if the candidate have syphilis or talesemia or other illness but only at emirates it is detected, and 2. is male candidate allowed to apply basic facial product to cover the acne scar during interview? or even if they are accepted into the program are they allowed to apply facial products? thank you 😄😄

You need to declare all medical conditions in your health declaration before joining. If they discover anything serious, such as syphilis, you will be sent home immediately. Males can wear minimal facial products, like concealer, to cover temporary acne or pimples. However, if you have deep scars from acne, it might be an issue, though I can’t say for certain. They generally look for candidates with good skin, healthy teeth, and overall good health. If they are not satisfied with something, they won’t hire you. Additionally, if you are deemed medically unfit for the position, it could lead to medical termination, even if you have been with the company for a long time.

Yeah, no worries, that should be more than enough. Honestly, I didn’t have any customer service experience before Emirates, but I still got the job. I just explained how my work as a journalist and project manager could relate to customer service, like being good at communication, problem-solving, handling stressful situations etc))

Thank you ☺️ Honestly, it’s hard to say, but you should be pretty fluent in English for this job, B2 or higher would be ideal. That said, one of my batch mates had a B1 level when she joined. She’s got such an amazing personality, and I think that’s why they hired her. She improved her skills super quickly too! But that’s more of an exception. I’d say work on your English for a few months first, it’ll make you feel way more confident and comfortable 😉

Yes, but not in visible areas. If someone sees that you have a tattoo on your arm, for example, they will report it to the company, and it leads to immediate termination. Some guys get tattoos on their arms after training, but since they wear long-sleeve uniforms, the tattoos aren’t visible, so they’re fine. You can get a tattoo anywhere you want, just make sure it’s not visible when you’re in uniform 😉

@@khushboo.udeshi No, the service uniform includes a waistcoat, and you can also wear a cardigan with it. However, tattoos on your hands, wrists are strictly prohibited. Even if you plan to cover them with makeup, it’s simply not allowed 🤷‍♀️

@ I don’t want to give too much hope, nothing is impossible, but Emirates tends to hire candidates up to 29 years old. I never flew with anyone who was hired after 30. I know that Etihad is less strict about age, especially if you have experience, but I’m not sure about 35, sorry
