@@andreasblack1766 Not entirely. Kipping is the term used to describe forcefully kicking through your heels in order to elevate your hips. Gymnasts invented the movement and we still refer to it as kipping even if your feet do not meet the bar/rings. That being said a Ring Kip is an entirely different movement than this. A Rings Kip actually starts from an inverted hang. These would be called bent arm front uprises.

All of you commenting about muscle up forms, are so quick to discredit the insane amount of work these guys put in year round. Also no one is claiming they are doing perfect form strict muscle ups, but they are still muscle ups just a different variation!!! If you do squats and I catch you quarter squatting which I know half you people commenting do, I’m not gonna come point out that you are half squatting when you could be full squatting. Just do your thing and let other people perform the fitness they wanna perform. CrossFit games athletes are the fittest people on the planet because they can do everything. If you think they can’t do strict muscle ups go check out 2016 regionals. They had to do 10 Rounds for time, 4 strict muscle ups!!!!!!!! They kip because it is most efficient and if it’s allowed and your competitors are doing it and you are competing for $275,000 and you kipping will get you closer to that and the title on a world stage, you would kip as well! However, you are not there because all of you complaining do not even have what it takes to be there. Also kipping is a tough skill to learn properly, I can assure you. Kipping strict however you wanna do it, not a single person complaining about the form could even come within a few minutes of Mat’s time.

man i don't know if you ever listen to your physics and biology teachers, but I can assure you that every one of those ""athletes"" is gonna regret doing CrossFit. look at how fast they came down before suddenly and violently stopping. That isn't healthy at all, they're destroying their joints and they could have easily rip their biceps or lats. Now that they're young, they seem fit, but 10 to 20 years from now they'll be experiencing so much problems with their joints and muscles. Also, they are definitely not the fittest people, there are many chalistenic athletes who are far fitter, because they have to keep their mass lower to be able to move their body around. This ""athletes"" are too massive to do a lot of proper muscle ups. sorry if I misspelled something, I'm not mother tongue

just a curiosity: are these guy tested for doping substances as in olympics?
@morganbrown85385 жыл бұрын
bravo tipo I believe they are. I remember seeing there were a few who weren’t allowed to compete. Look it up, the info is out there.
@samseloo49625 жыл бұрын
Yea they do. Caught a rookie star doping named Ricky Gerard. Most guys who dope don’t make it as far in competition anyway because they get weeded out in one way or another
@jacks1bonnielass4 жыл бұрын
bravo tipo They test AT the games lol It doesn’t take a genius to figure out how they get around it. Go look at the women’s division & that will put all your doubt to rest. It’s physically impossible for some of them to be as big as they are & look so unnatural without juicing. Just no way. I’m 5’10” & been lifting a long time. The only thing I take is preworkout supplements you can buy at any store & I’m lean & muscular, but I don’t have a man’s body like those women do🤷🏼♀️ lol

Muscle up or kip up both intended to mount the apparatus, not as a repetitive move. Maybe a good form muscle up, transition to an iron cross, then a respectable dismount. repeat 10 with good form? Not my cup of tea, crossfit , but it brings in the customers.

People maybe eating a ton of chips in their bed right now but it still does not change the fact that they have bad muscle ups

I'm not sure what the judges' criteria are. Like obviously it has nothing to do with form, so what are you no repping for?

@@julienschulz3326 I can do too.. maybe 10... but the fact that they did so many clean and jerks... that alone is amazing... let alone finding the power for muscle ups... is impressive and I don't understand why so much hate...
@julienschulz33265 жыл бұрын
@@juriseldveraj6192 tbh they just didn't do clean muscle ups... they did clean "crossfit muscle ups" but those weren't "muscle ups" ... They can do whatever they want as long as they dont complain about not gaining muscle or being injured afterwards... I had problems watching this and it was kinda funny on the other hand but in the end everyone does what they want. Idgaf about crossfit. I also kinda like the general idea behind it tbh. Just not the way crossfitters do it. Just my opinion tho... As i said you do you

Ther's no exercise executed correctly, from the first to the last, each exercise has a lot of error...as alway CrossFit is only a commercial sport. WTA Training is another planet in terms of respect of the human biomechanics.
