Ashley and Ashlyn are the typical popular girls in high school who can be vapid and vain, but have some good inside them, albeit misguided at times. They actually invited Wendy to go to the salon with them which I thought was sweet. Source: I knew a girl like this in high school. Nowhere close to the same social circle (she was popular, I was the band geek), but whenever we interacted, she was always kind to me.
@dancingcarapace2 жыл бұрын
I knew a similar girl before I came out as trans. When I was in secondary (high) school, I was in a lot of classes with this typical popular girl. She was probably one of the only girls nice to me out of the entire year. She even had the guts to stand up for me when I got bullied, which was common. (Being openly queer at an all girls school in England is like swimming with an open wound in a tank of starved piranha. You’re fucked)
@jenniferbayarea5748 Жыл бұрын
Me and my bestfriend and some other old friends now that older I find it ridiculous but we were the popular girls in high school. And like we were super big extroverts we would talk to anybody and whenever we would have someone who was a loner or anti social come sit with us for lunch they’d be very shocked or nervous if we would be mean to them. I remember one guy he would always be nervous saying hi. I never understood why popular girls or popular people would be mean like it’ll just lead to a ass whopping

I was quite popular back in high school but I would talk to anyone because I went through bullying myself back in elementary but when I started middle school I became more social, became somewhat of a ladies man, and became popular when I ate up a popular kid in a fight but no matter my status I never forgot my beginnings and even became friends with many outcasts, emos, anime fans, nerds, and this was the early 2010s dubsteppers

@@dancingcarapace I always thought the same thing, most of the others were almost instant deaths, but the girls really suffered. FD3 does a good job of humanizing the main characters, whereas for example #4 is full of cartoonish characters you have a hard time sympathizing with. #1 and #2 are well-written plotwise, and #5 has some interesting writing that makes it stomachable, but #3 didn't necessarily have good writing, its characters made it good and made you interested.

The scary thing about this series is the fact that it shows what happens if you don’t trust a gut feeling, even if nothing truly comes of it. My mom has always told me to trust my gut, and it’s actually saved me and a few people around me. After I turned 17, I was driving to work one morning and came up on a blind curve, I’ve driven the same route every day to get to school, work, etc. so I could’ve driven the entire route blind if I wanted to, but coming up on that curve I got a horrible, nasty feeling, I got chills and a flash of deja vu, I was going pretty fast, again cause I knew the road and could take it fast, but I slowed my car way down to a crawl before I approached the curve, as I got slowed down enough, another car came barreling down the road at a top speed, it’s entire front was in my side of the road and could’ve taken one or both of us out if I hadn’t slowed down. Another instance was when I had a terrible dream and called my mom to check on our grandpa, her dad, and when she did, she found he had gotten sick and needed to go to the hospital. Always trust your gut even if you think it could be nothing.
@davsny510 ай бұрын
Same thing happened to me when I was 17, got into a bad accident taking a detour, due to bad weather and traffic and I have gone thru that hard right turn a million times, but I got a bad feeling and took the turn too quickly and my Ford Explorer missed one car on the turn but hydroplaned and smashed into an F-150. Thankfully, I escaped with shock and minor injuries but it was weird because I missed my friends and went into the wrong movie, I was supposed to see Disturbing Behavior 1998 with my friend but ended up late and sold out and I went to see There's Something About Mary 1998 instead. I hit my head on the steering wheel, despite being safety belted in and suffered a mild black out and I was listening to 1982 Toto's Rosanna. Spooky, the car saved me even if it hurt me.

Yes! Always trust your gut, instinct, whatever you want to call it. I've had these situations happen in scary ways, as well as just kind of simply knowing things before they were known by others. Examples being - At 15 I begged my mom not to go to work because I'd had a dream that she wrecked because her breaks went out. She didn't go & when she went to move her car into the garage that evening, her breaks had gone out. I also remember predicting 3 separate friends/family members being pregnant before they knew they were. And just last year I woke up from a deep sleep and told my friend that one of us should call our mutual friends mom because I had a dream she'd went to jail & needed bailed out. She called our friends mom & found out she'd been taken into custody just a few hours earlier. Whatever the heck it is... trust it.

This may be a so-so movie but I’m really in love with how safe and organized they were. Like at 14:11. Two men armed with the door to the tanning bed and another armed with a fire extinguisher. You hear her yell ‘hot’ and they all repeat ‘Hot!’ and immediately know what to do. Open the bed, put her out, stay calm, don’t panic and block one another and listen for the code word, ready to act immediately. That’s excellent communication for safety. (I used to be in technical theater in high school. You always have to be organized with caution above all else. Act with minimal amount of code words. Short code words that can be yelled fast in scary situations to tell those around you everything you need to know about what’s happening/what your sudden jump to action means and lets others start to formulate how to help)

The most upsetting part of the whole franchise for me was in this movie. Right after Wendy has her premonition, and gets off the rollercoaster, her boyfriend Jason asks to be let off as well but they ignore him and start the ride anyway and they of course all die. Apparently, in the novelization of this movie, there's an explanation for Ian's place in death's timeline. In the novel, it states that though Ian and Erin fell out of the car together, Erin died on impact with the ground, while Ian survived for a few moments longer, dying of blood loss after Perry hit the ground nearby. Also, there are original final destination novels which are some wild shit.

Well no... Wendy already tried to stop Ashley and Ashlyn from going to salon when she called Ashley’s phone. She was already too late though. Wendy was supposed to be dead after hitting the roller coaster tracks. It's incredible how the last scene shows she died in tracks too, but this time, it's a train. Also, right from the first, when Jason says, "Meet you at the end," it is an obvious foreshadowing of how Wendy died in the end, reuniting with him.

I refused believe she’s dead

@@Karlebow571after that train crash she definitely didn't survive plus if she did she wouldn't have the strength to move meaning she would be laying there bleeding out are whatever

@@ERENLEONHART imo it was originally intended to say she’s dead But it’s ambiguous enough that a retcon wouldn’t be too infuriating Why get such a detailed vision and the chance to change things when they literally had no way of stopping it? Like, Death was shown to have a sense of humor, but it normally wasn’t super mean to characters that weren’t mean themselves, so why hurt Wendy so deeply? The answer to that in the original film is that Wendy’s biggest character flaw according to her and everyone else was that she’s a control freak, death was screwing with her by taking away all of her control Or another entity, or the compassionate side of death, gave the premonitions to the control freaks because they were best equipped to use those gifts Who knows But they could definitely retcon it that with her insight, she like, tucks and rolls differently so it’s her arm fucked yo instead of her leg and she gets outta there Or with the extra insight they are able to dodge all three of their deaths, Wendy pulls Kevin off the window, Kevin keeps Julie from standing up and getting hit, and Julie drags Wendy away with her broken leg, and they all get away lol Edit: if she ever does come back they should bring back Jason’s voice actor to do some voice over where he repeats “meet you in the end” as she’s dying

@@Gibbypastrami I think it's safe to say she died only one has ever made it and that was clair but she died in the second movie and in all other movies they ussally have a hidden detail saying how they died

I cannot stress enough how much I love your flashing lights warnings. The tones make it so you can hear you talking and not deal with the flashing lights.

It's a really convenient solution that protects the photosensitive and doesn't break the flow of the review/count. The more people that can watch, the better.
