Slashers are more like Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Scream, etc. I think Final Destination is in, it's own category. Paranormal. If you didn't like the first Final Destination movie, it is hard for me to say if it's worth continuing with the series, though for, a dollar, maybe. The concept of ''cheating'' death and, what would happen if you knew your time was supposed to be up, and 'then 'death'', working it's way back to find you, would be scary IRL. It's not a classic like, the Exorcist or The Shining, but it's a fun movie, though I watched it a long time ago, and do have some nostalgia for it. There's been 5 films so far. And I believe a 6th is in, the works too.
