Thanks Deepblu dude. I'm very familiar with the tyranny of distance; once moved 4 project cars, one at a time, from Virginia to Texas, and then promptly got sent back to Virginia!

Aww man, I had a friend who was in a similar situation with a 78 Chevy truck. He owed 6 years after college and ended up finding a random family via friends of friends of friends, who had a large property where they allowed him to just park his vehicle on an gravel patch for literally years for free. A few things deteriorated in the 7 years it sat out there, but he would go down there every once in a while, (when he could which was sparse) with some rodent repellent, poison and charged batteries and crank the engine over for a bit so when he finally got back to it, everything was still mechanically in good shape, at basically no cost to him other than fuel to go visit it a few times a year. He finally got back to it and still drives it, he loves that truck. Personally, I’d rather at least try and do something like that and have a few setbacks due to neglect rather than hope to get a fraction of my money back out of a dream. But I understand if that’s just not in the cards.

How much hp did you end up pulling from this build. Im curious. I have an 86 f250 with a 6.9 . It runs great but is limited. Wanna swap it for a 7.3 in the future. These videos gave me confidence in building one . R and D has some beautiful engines but im hoping to save a few thousand by building my own. Any tips on beefing up the block to support around 400-500 hp?

I had to sell it before I got it on the road, but I really didn't care about hp. This build was all about torque, and if I recall correctly, I was looking at around 250 hp and 550 ft/lbs.

Really disappointed that this came to a halt. I feel like there should be some type of unfinished or abandoned label in the previous videos so people (like me) dont watch almost all of them to get to the main installs just to get to the "Im moving it's for sale" video. Your entire marketing/branding of bulletproof garage has been building project brutus etc. Maybe go back and label the videos as what they are individually and not as part of this build... just s random opinion.
