Nice to hear someone mention how terrible the plot is. You only touched on the tip of the iceberg, Joshua's absence that's then never questioned is so ridiculous. Also the destroying of the crystals makes no sense. Cid explains how the crystals might work and how that might be causing the blight. They get evidence to the contrary after destroying the first one, but they just continue destroying. Then they are just correct at the end for no reason... The time-skips are also the worst by the way. So many people criticize the gameplay, but they always say the story is good. I guess many people just have low standards.

Yh I feel that 100% originally the story bit was going to be much longer including the point about the crystal's but had to cut it out due to time. Otherwise yh man the story is wack I really wanted to like it but I just couldn't stop thinking about how dumb it was. But when the game stopped being about politics it was so much better and I hope next time they just go full batshit crazy. Anyway thanks for commenting and watching my review it means a lot to me.
