Got this game when I was 10. I knew very little english. it took me weeks to figure some parts of the game out (no internet and nobody I knew also owned it). I distinctly remember a weapon called Morning Star, which had the ability to cut through certain pieces of rock. If you didnt get the MS, you had to use another item which was always in short supply. I did my first few playthroughs without the MS which was a pain. I always found it cruel that they put such a crucial weapon in an intirely skippable place. But games back then didnt hold your hand ;-)

Figuring out the "palm trees and eight" clue back before you could just go and look it up on a wiki was...fun :P.
