Atin I have lots of trouble with this so maybe you can give me a word of advice. When I play 2 handed songs I can't make the other (left) hand go a different like beat as the same hand like I can't play the r-hand then the l-hand I do it at the same time.

Practice makes perfect. Start small and work your way up. Even when you're out, tap off beat with your fingers on your knees or a table. It'll stop confusing your muscles after a while!

For the B section I prefer to voice a Gm in the left hand and lower the root to get voicings of D+, Bb, and Bb(no5add#11). It creates a really nice chromatic line in the context of Gm
