Final Fantasy Tactics was the first strategy RPG I ever played and it definitely left it's mark. What do you love/hate about Final Fantasy Tactics?

Loved this game. I had played Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together before I had played this, but otherwise this was one of my first tactical RPG games and it definitely spoiled me.

Yeah, playing this game first definitely set the bar high for me as well. Impressive with how well it held up over the years.

I really really hope they eventually remaster some version of this. War of the Lions had so much going for it, but its low resolution and especially its awful performance remain an issue - a Tactics Ogre: Reborn style remaster would be the absolute dream - hell, all I'd really want to see added would be a speed up option. Love this game, it has my personal favourite story in all of FF (the man might not think of himself as a writer, but Matsuno generally wrote the best stories Squeenix ever published in my mind), the gameplay is exactly my jam and the presentation - especially in War of the Lions - couldn't be more up my alley.

FFT is definitely one of my favorite FF games and probably my favorite strategy rpg. I enjoyed Tactics Ogre, Triangle Strategy and some others but FFT is the one I would always go back to. Thanks for checking out the vid!
