Im just fighting this boss and damn.... you made this fight look so easy in my case the boss just spams bioga all the time and kills my whole team too quickly....

You can reduce his mp with the knight or spread your units, also when he cast something he leaves himself vulnerable and last but not least when he sees someone (in this case my black mage) using a spell he will almost always target her, so if you wanna make him focus something you can use a spell

​@HauntedFennie 4 oracles/mystics with invigoration is the easiest way to win (life drain 25% like gravity or 1/2 graviga though they nuke bosses if they don't miss) with 5th a double speed rend ninja lol. Alternatively holy spams can help too. Agrias and mustadio are beginner's traps as you're not gonna do much damage with them, (and Agrias needs a runeblade from a chapter 3 stolen/recruited random knight battle to do damage before Orlandeau, and the magic buff makes her a cheese orator with mimic darlavon or invite for a higher success). Jump may be a good strategy as well though you can't predict lucavi speed (under 50 CT is usually good as it is double your speed to land). Lastly, you can brawler ninja with max bravery from Ramza's steel to do obscene damage (once it's over 90 it skyrockets and you'll get more successful reaction abilities). You can also equip stuff to stop debuffs sleep and doom, and use phoenix downs to keep reviving. Vid has bad setup outside black mage lol 2:45 with white mage and thief ramza when lucavi got nothing to steal (blood sword from gaffgarion lets you heal and dual wield equip swords is scary). But you can win too. 2:52 monk only 60 damage because only 69 bravery. It'd probably be at least 200 with 90-99 bravery as unarmed skyrockets (katanas increase too but easier to spam iaido or give them mystic's invigoration). 3:34 flare swiftness on black mage was the mvp as everyone else is under 100 damage. Must've went all in on that build, though sadly got countered (white mage is also faster and 5:10 throw stone would wake sleep but nice purificiation 5:25) and auto potion after. Regardless, it is interesting to see this as a challenge, as I beat Adrammelech with a crossbow and ultima and gave him a free attack.

If you know to before the Gafgarion fight, you can buy rings at the store that block both sleep and doom. It makes this boss SO much easier. I just fought him last night after years and forgot about the rings so I got wrecked several times. I could have went to an earlier save, but I had spent a whole bunch of time during the gate fight stealing all of Gaf's equipment and I didn't want to do it all again. 😫

12 and Tactics: War of the Lions both take place in the same universe. And in FF14, they've included Ivalice as well, so now all of the Zodiac braves are in 14 as well.

Assumedly. The Espers from FFXII were likely reinterpreted as demons far in Ivalices future, the auracite are probably their glyphs.
