Here in 2024 and can say that this game still has some of the best writing/ storytelling and this battle between family is one of the best scenes in this game. I still get goosebumps when i hear the bgm and ramza comes to his brothers aid with no hesitation even though him and his brother departed from each other on bad terms. Zalbaag willing to admit that ramza was right is something that many strong ppl will not do. Zalbaag was a great character, its a shame that he met his end at such a pivotal development point.

Unlike Wiegraf where his personality drastically changes after possessed by Lucavi, Dycedargs personality doesn't seems to change that much even after possessed by Lucavi because he was already rot to the core

The fact that my guy didn't Stasis Sword / Lightning Stab those 2 Knights with Agrias on her opening turn had me taken aback a bit. 🤣🤣

Given that they vanish after Adramelek "powers up" it's safe to say that he teleports them away. ....and given the Nature of the Lucavi, likely to nowhere nice.

How hard is the game without Thunder God Cid Orlandu? Also, nice to see Dycedarg's title fixed in this version. What the heck was a "Lune" Knight? ...Oh, RUNE Knight! That makes more sense.

I dont use Orlandu but i guess it depends if you farm or not, if you play it the way its supposed to be is a bit hard.

It's fairly rudimentary with every character, you can beat the game with random recruits no problem. Orlando, Mustadio and Agrias certainly bring their advantages, but they also have developmental issues if you use their core classes. The job system gives you tons of ways to augment power. It's not an easy game per se, dorter trade city kicks everyone in the teeth the first time. A lot of it is mastering the systems, like CT, and just developing properly. Save often, you'll likely die during a random battle or some story missions. But take my advice - don't go into a castle or fortress without saving first. If there's a multipart battle in there, save in a different slot. You'll thank me later. Otherwise you can always just level and play smarter. You could win the game with summoners if you wanted to. I once beat the game with only 3 players, including Ramza, and minimal leveling up. Wasn't hard, you become strong fast in this game... and you can always use more tactics.

Zalbaag didn't even have time to react after Dycedarg transformed, which somewhat diminishes the power of this scene for me. I think if they were able to give him at least a reaction then it would have felt more smooth.

For as much as they built up the Lucavi, they were absolute pushovers in this game, except for Belius. Yeah they had a lot of HP and attack power, but you'd fight them in incredibly open spaces and basically alone.

I Really disgust Dycedarg. Hell for him. And i think Zaalbag could have a better destiny...
