Previously, the party continued suffering through the Musclehead Colosseum in Battle Square at the Gold Saucer. They completed the Advanced Two-Person Bouts that they could prior to postgame. They also worked through the Easy Six-Person Bouts and wrapped up with the first Advanced Six-Person Bout, "Six-Person Bouts: Harmony of Discord". Now, they will finish the Advanced Six-Person bouts available prior to postgame. They will also visit the Gongaga Ruins to confront the Shadowblood Queen to a game of Queen's Blood. They will wrap up with another of Chadley's combat trials.

Detailed description: 0:00 - Game Load 0:11 - Gold Saucer - Battle Square The party resumes in Battle Square in the Gold Saucer. The main scenario "Tracking the Turks" is in progress. Yuffie and Red XIII each equip a White Cape for immunity to Toad. Cloud, of course, has the Ribbon. Yuffie links an Auto-Cast Materia to her Healing Materia. The party talks to the Colosseum Receptionist. 1:19 - Musclehead Colosseum - 6 (Advanced) Under 6 (Advanced), the party signs up for "Six-Person Bouts: Gourmands Are We" (1:36). The recommended level is 44. The requirement is to complete "Six-Person Bouts: Harmony of Discord". For Team 1, the party chooses Cloud, Yuffie, and Red XIII. For Team 2, they choose Barret, Aerith, and Tifa. In Round 1, Team 1 encounters an Aggrevrikon and a Gigaworm. Remember that the Aggrevrikon's toxin can transform party members into Toads. When the Gigaworm ingests a stone, its Stomach can be targeted and then crippled to pressure it. In Round 2, Team 2 encounters a White Terror and a White Mousse. The party defeats all the fiends (8:39). For clearing "Six-Person Bouts: Gourmands Are We", they earn "The Art of Swordplay Vol. V", which provides 10 SP for Cloud, and 130 Gold Saucer Points. Next, the party signs up for "Six-Person Bouts: Primordial Protectors" (9:08). The recommended level is 45. The requirement is to complete "Six-Person Bouts: Gourmands Are We". For Team 1, the party chooses Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa. For Team 2, they choose Barret, Yuffie, and Red XIII. In Round 1, Team 1 encounters 2 Sahagin Warriors and an Ogre. In Round 2, Team 2 encounters an Elder Golem and a Gigant Bomb. Tifa reaches Level 49 and earns 5 SP. The party defeats all the fiends (15:20). For clearing "Six-Person Bouts: Primordial Protectors", they earn 5 Mist Giga-Potions and 140 Gold Saucer Points. Then, the party signs up for "Six-Person Bouts: Out of the Shadows" (15:49). The recommended level is 46. The requirement is to complete "Six-Person Bouts: Primordial Protectors". For Team 1, the party chooses Cloud, Yuffie, and Tifa. For Team 2, they choose Barret, Aerith, and Red XIII. In Round 1, Team 1 encounters a Marquis Valron and a Dark Claw. The Dark Claw can be put to sleep while the party deals with the Marquis Valron. Yuffie reaches Level 49 and earns 5 SP. In Round 2, Team 2 encounters 2 Thunderclaws and an Irasceros. While the Irasceros is weak to lightning-elemental attacks, the Thunderclaws absorb lightning, so take the Thunderclaws out first before tossing out Thunder spells. Red XIII reaches Level 49 and earns 5 SP. The party defeats all the fiends (23:35). For clearing "Six-Person Bouts: Out of the Shadows", they earn an X-Potion and 150 Gold Saucer Points. Subsequent Advanced Six-Person Bouts require completing the main scenario first. Pity. 24:14 - Gold Saucer - Battle Square The party visits the Maghnata Automat (24:39). Cloud spends 20 SP on the stat boost Enhanced Attack and 20 SP on the ability Aerial Onslaught. Yuffie spends 20 SP on the stat boost Elemental Damage Up and 20 SP on the ability Storm's Fury. Tifa spends 20 SP on the synergy ability Moogle Dunk Shot with Cait Sith and 20 SP on the ability Trinity Strike. Red XIII spends 20 SP on the stat boost Vengeful Revenant and 20 SP on the ability Retaliation. Aerith spends 20 SP on the synergy ability Planetary Roar with Red XIII and 20 SP on the stat boost MP recovery Rate Up. Barret spends 20 SP on the ability Lifeblood Cannon and 20 SP on the stat boost Max HP Up. At the Gift Shop, the party visits the GP Exchange (27:28). All but one of the shops have special ingredients required for the Transmuter Chip: Ultimate Accessories upgrades. At the Battle Square store, they spend 700 GP on the Resplendent Robe. At the Event Square store, they spend 700 GP on the Gilded Tentacle. At the Ghost Square store, they spend 700 GP on the Aureate Horn. At the Skywheel store, they spend 700 GP on the Lustrous Feather. At the Chocobo Square store, they spend 700 GP on the Gold Talon. At the Speed Square store, they spend 700 GP on the Burnished Crown. The party boots up the Item Transmuter. Under Items, they transmute a Dry Ether. Under Armor Upgrades, they upgrade Tifa's Garm Bangle to an Enhanced Garm Bangle. Under Accessory Upgrades, they transmute an Enhanced Expeditionary Medal, an Enhanced Malboro Orb, and an Enhanced Karmic Cowl. They will need more Dark Matter to upgrade more accessories. They add the unenhanced accessories to the To-Do List. The party also transmutes some Mixed Hi-Potions, Mist Hi-Potions, and Mist Mega-Potions. The party takes the Guide Moogle to Wonderment Square. 31:07 - Gold Saucer - Wonderment Square In the Arcade, the party talks to the Tournament Organizer at the Queen's Blood counter (31:45). A new difficulty level is unlocked. The party checks the available challenges. I don't look forward to those challenges, but they can wait. After saving, the party warps to the chocobo stop north of the Gongaga Ruins Tower in the Gongaga Region. 32:53 - Gongaga Region The party heads south from the chocobo stop into the Gangaga Ruins. When they can, they turn east. In a room in the northeast of the ruins, the party talks to none other than Regina (33:45). A cutscene takes place. I'd say this girl has a problem. Cloud chooses to challenge the Shadowblood Queen to a Queen's Blood game. 35:54 - Queen's Blood - Shadowblood Queen - Failures Cloud updates his deck. Then, he starts a game against the Shadowblood Queen (36:55). The Shadowblood Queen starts with the Shadowblood Queen card on the right side of the board, and the card powers up by 3 whenever any card is enfeebled. To worsen matters, the queen uses a lot of debuffing cards and cards that claim a lot of territory. The best word for this attempt is a rout. Cloud restarts and makes a second attempt (38:37). Her Majesty routs Cloud again. Cloud restarts and makes a third attempt against the Shadowblood Queen (40:36). 42:29 - Queen's Blood - Shadowblood Queen - Success Cloud restarts and makes a fourth attempt. Finally, he gets lucky with the Titan card in his starting deck, and he manages to gain control of much of the board. Cloud wins his fourth attempt against the Shadowblood Queen (44:47). 45:04 - Gongaga Region A cutscene with Regina/the Shadowblood Queen takes place after Cloud's victory. Fortunately, Vincent shows up before Cloud gets too choked up. Cloud obtains the No. 145: Shadowblood Queen card. For defeating 30 players, including the Shadowblood Queen, Cloud reaches Queen's Blood Rank 12: Blood Champion, the ultimate rank. Cloud inspects the board (48:44). He checks his new Shadowblood Queen card. The party warps to Costa del Sol in the Corel Region. 49:39 - Costa del Sol After saving, the party talks to Chadley (50:07). They boot up the old Combat Simulator again. 50:31 - Combat Simulator - Regions Under Regions, the party undertakes "Corel Region Intel: Level 2" (50:43). The recommended level is 46. The requirement is to battle 38 enemy types in the Corel Region. The party chooses a lineup of Cloud, Yuffie, and Barret. In Round 1, the party encounters 3 Thugs and a Scrutineye. In Round 2, the party encounters 2 Heatseekers and a Bagnadrana. In Round 3, the party encounters 3 Daemonic Entities and a Cockatrice. Got Petrify resistance? Barret's Magnify Materia levels up. In Round 4, the party encounters 2 Sandhog Pies and a Cyclone Drake. In Round 5, the party encounters 2 Dark Claws and Kid G. A nasty enemy group. Fortunately, one of the Dark Claws can be put to sleep while the party deals with the other. The party defeats all the enemies (1:03:53). For clearing "Corel Region Intel: Level 2", they earn a Level 2 orb of Fire Materia. 1:04:25 - Costa del Sol The party saves. Next time, they may finally continue the story and set out to find the Turks that swiped the Keystone. Thanks for watching!
