My reaction to the FFVII Rebirth release date announcement trailer! I actually screamed when it revealed Vincent but luckily my microphone filtered it out lol. I really appreciate all of the friendly discussion and hype in the comments! Thanks for checking out my video.

Hi everyone! This video has been getting way more traction than I'm used to. I was excited but nervous about being exposed to a wider audience because the internet can be viscous. Nice catch with the outfit Cloud is wearing while fighting alongside Sephiroth. Also in the shot with the SHINRA parade / formation, you can see the beagle version of Stamp the dog. That could possibly be a key to identifying things in this game; as in, Terrier Stamp for Zack stuff. Also, I know its quite different but the Spider-Man games are both really fun and have really good characters/storyelling, just like FF7R. FF16 is good, but ultimately more about spectacle and combat than it is about compelling story (the characters are pretty awesome, of course). Probably some sales coming up for holidays!

It seems you forgot that when cloud relate the nibelheim story in kalm he is a unreliable narrator in that he thinks he was the 1st class soldier there. (Tifa is confused about it but dont go deeper because she seem to know cloud is unstable) we learn way later that he was a grunt when he go into the lifestream with tifa and its the big reveal about zack. so in the flashback sequence its cloud with sephiroth :)

Thanks for explaining! Yes, you're exactly right. One thing I noticed later too is you can see that Cloud's SOLDIER outfit is actually Zach's outfit (especially the different shoulder pads) in the shots with Sephiroth and Cloud together. Cloud is inserting himself into what Zach did.

@@Entrepid83 It's "Kate Sihth" officially (the way we all said it as kids). I like to think Cait Sith just pronounces his own name incorrectly after he read the name somewhere else, lol. It doesn't bother me.

your welcome , well thats my guess and some guess that too , pretty sure at like 99.9% , Alexander you get it in disc 2 by touching normally the frost lady with the hot spring when you travel in the snow field with the amazing real map.Just before the Gaea Cliff. As for the Boar looking thing , that as to be Kjata also a summon u can get in disc 1 just in the sleeping forrest , i believe u dont need the lunar harp to get it but useally you get it there , there a red material moving around and you need to grab it. And am sure you recognize Odin , he isnt as rare as Alexander or Kjata. Also Alexander seem to be in some sort of battle simulation like some of the Summons form Remake fighting there.He performing Holy Judgement like a final attack thing.Kjata looks nice tho I like the design of the 3 faces@@CosmicAlgae

You get a buggy during the visit to the Gold Saucer allows you to cross shallow waters, and you get Tiny Bronco that, as you said, becomes a boat. Also I think the thing you said is all "bluey and glowey Ancient technology" is the summon Alexander and it seems by the background its in the VR setting (Chadley). Current rumour is Matt Mercer is doing the English voice for Vincent.

I think sephiroth is trying to get the cloud with Zach to the reunion to help him destroy the planet somehow? Maybe he'll get that cloud to try to kill aerith before she gets to summon holy . Since he wasn't able to totally control cloud in the original, he is gonna do it in the other timeline? Then that's where Zach comes in to the big picture. I'm just theorizing here

The owner of the Gold Saucer has an item called the Key Stone which you need to enter the Temple of the Ancients, you need to earn it by doing the battle mini game with the slot machines 🙂

I suspect we’ll make it as far as Nibelheim in Rebirth. No sign of Cid yet. The Kalm Flashback is going to be so sick. Green Dragon boss battle shoulder to shoulder with Sephiroth?

There was an interview with Nomura and Hamaguchi and they confirmed the game ends at the Forgotten Capital, where the "famous scene" occurs. But also the locations we visit occur in a different order, so it's more unclear about what we see before that. Is there a reason outside of Vincents design that girls go crazy over him? Dirge of Cerberus was an absolute vibe killer for the Character, not that he had much in the original game.

This is a good question lol. Back when I played DoC as a 15 year old I genuinely thought it was a cool game and he was an interesting character. I think it is attributed to his appearance/design and mystery, but most of all I'm excited to see them flesh out his character in Rebirth and the third game

I think they are taking a cue from TLOU2. Sephiroth will be the main protagonist.
