These reaction videos to Rebirth are popping up in my feed. Can't help it, I'm excited too. Context: At one time when JRPG's were brand new to me and everyone else back in the late 90's due almost entirely to FFVII, man or woman we all loved it. The spiky hair, the weird situations, the "cool" attitude, the graphics, fuck it, we loved it and ate it up with everything. But as we grew up a lot of us drifted and didn't care. When FFVII Remake came out man did some people (myself included) get magnetised back hard and at least for me there was this weird, "so, who's gonna see this Remake until the end?! Vibe only to hear crickets from people I experienced the original with have long since moved on and literally don't even care about video games anymore at all... It was stupidly depressing for me to link Remake trailer after trailer to people I know loved FFVII just go, "yeah but, I just don't care anymore." I truly feel people need some sort of spark in their life and my friends lost it. Back to FFVII: The massive absurdity of it all and just feeling like stupid young kids again liking a Playstation game.... Square clearly knows this for multiple cultures and is trying to carefully balance a thread on this and I think they're doing it well. Basically this video made me laugh and a lot because I knew (and know) far too many women who use to fawn over Cloud, Sephiroth, Zack and Vincent and do their doodles in their notebooks as we all did at one time.....Time is weird, eh?

More details got revealed in the newest article on PlayStation blog and other interviews: - 100 hours of gameplay. - The climax of this game will include The Forgotten Capital, but no Wutai until part 3. - You will "control sephiroth in the same part as the original game". - Not all party members will be playable until part 3 (like Cid and Vincent), but those that you can not control will be companion characters like Red XIII was in part 1. (This problaly hints that Cid will be a guest character like Red was in Remake). - No save data transfer, but you get Leviathan for Remake and Ramuh for Intermission episode save data. - Huge areas for exploration.

WHOOOO YEAH!!! Seems Square-Enix is still making excellent progress with FF7 Rebirth here! I've finally seen Vincent and Cait Sith again but still no Cid though. Also it looks like this is gonna be in February of next year, though I was really hoping for January. Also what you saw with Zack is an alternate timeline where he's now ALIVE!
