I was never able to trigger that cutscene that explains what happened to Yuna's mom. Now I understand Braska's motivation to defeat Sin. As many times has I've played this game now I feel like I should revisit it. Thanks. :)

I always forget just how completely broken Wakka's Attack Reels are. Seriously, when you level him up all the way every single one of those is going to be a 9999.

if Cid is Rikku's pops and Cid is Yuna's Mother's brother. Then that makes Rikku and Yuna related righ? :) and yet they never mentioned or reacted to it that I can remember. I guess they were preoccupied with saving the world.

Although they do not explicitly say "Rikku and Yuna are cousins", it is made clear that Yuna is Al Bhed from her mother's side, and Yuna herself mentions Cid being her uncle. Rikku and Brother are Yuna's 1st generation cousins :)

I agree - Wakka's a man-beast, thanks to Attack Reels. I fought this battle with my latest file last night, and that Overdrive was hitting for 9999 damage each hit. Your characters are even less developed than mine, and Wakka still almost killed one of the fins. Really, Attack Reels is so overpowered it ought to be his last Overdrive to learn. Great video, though!

I can honestly say after playing FFX so many times since 2002, the original soundtrack is far more full and robust and I can only choose the original soundtrack in the HD remaster. I can definitely tell a huge difference in the instrumentation and the HD remaster blows the original out of the water in every way except the redone music and I just can't understand and never will understand I guess, why they made the music so epic originally and full and robust and then changed it. So I can honestly say I will forever play the HD remaster with the original soundtrack. I guess it's because I'm a huge music fan and really pay attention to sounds and instruments and tones and everything and so I just can't listen to the redone music when I play when the original soundtrack is far more epic. If the HD remaster didn't have the original soundtrack option, I wouldn't play it all and I would miss out on the dark aeons but I would just stick with the PS2 version. Maybe I'm alone in this. This is nothing against this playthrough, this is just me sharing about the soundtrack.

Might I ask why you think it would be? All that's on it is Yuna saying goodbye and thank you to all her guardians for them to watch after she dies defeating Sin. They show it after Tidus finds it when Yuna drops it on the way into Zanarkand.

Just curious which armor you put Master Thief on, Been having trouble deciding if I want to put it on an item from Wantz, or on of their ultimate armors

I'd put it on a wantz armor. Master thief is a good farming ability. It's only a relevant fighting ability if your opponent has a gamechanging mid-fight rare steal. Similarly when I got the farplane wind for finishing the calmlands capturing I customized deathstrike onto an otherwise disposable iron grip capture weapon because that ability is only really relevant for speeding up fights you would've killed anyway. Everything that wouldn't be trivial and tedious is immune.
