Bought this game for ps2 and then the remaster for ps3 got my ps4 and saw last week that there was yet another remaster out on the ps4... Final Fantasy X is one of my favorite games ever if not my favorite the whole game is amazing but I questioned buying this because I didn't know if it would be worth it. I just bought it an hour ago and started a new game and I can already tell I made the right choice the graphics are better and the original soundtrack is great. I am so happy that they remade this great game for ps4. If you're questioning if it is worth buying... It is definitely worth it.

The trailer really doesn't have any spoilers other then when Rikku mentions that upon defeating Sin Yuna would die, but even then, that was easily predictable as soon as you first entire the besaid temple.

I'm glad for this HD Release. X was my first Final Fantasy and got me to go back and play the nine before it. And while X-2 isn't a perfect game or one of my top favorites, I do like it as well. It's nice to see how the world is uncertain on what to do after Sin is gone. Even though Yuna ends up wearing that revealing outfit, I can kind of understand it, since she never really got to express herself in the first game due to following after Braska her whole life.

The Jecht sign, the hoodie, spiky hair blow out, the chest being exposed, how she talks, her warrior sword & stance and attack animations, even how she scolds Nooj towards the end are all Tidus actions. She was influenced by him so much that it shows even in the first game at parts like the 2nd Seymour battle, the lake scene in Macalania Woods, even the laughing out loud after she told him to do it then stop but joined in.

I'm really glad to see it is a remastered Internation Version of the game. Lots of my friends would come over to play it on my Japanese PS2 just to experience the Dark Aeons and Penance.

Their reasoning had something to do with the availability of all of the games. Most can be played on an iOS system (1-5) or through the PlayStation Network (5-9) while 10/10-2 (and 12) is mainly available on the PS2 (and PS3 if you have an old one) In case you were wondering.

Why do people hate Tidus so much. I mean I loved him. He was a kickass athlete, he wasn't afraid to make a change, wasn't afraid to fall in love, he wasn't afraid to go against the grain, and most importantly he wasn't afraid to challenge the corrupt system that had been set in place for hundreds of years. I mean yea he was a bit annoying at times but I still think he was an awesome character. He fought for what he believed was right and did not want to make any sacrifices...

Here's the game's 2 sides Yuna started out doing the pilgrimage because she felt she had to do what people expected of her but as the story progressed and Tidus's influence she started to think for herself and make her own choices more & more. It got to the point so much that Tidus noticed it almost instantly at the end of X-2 which was hinted before Square & Enix merged together.

Yoshinori Kitase said the reason why they can't include Dual Audio in the HD Remaster is because due to the Playstation Vita not have the capacity for it. And they also said they want both versions to be identical as possible.

They're remastering the previously exclusive international versions so even if you play the originals yearly there's things different about this version aside from the HD visuals. They also added something to it somewhere at the end that was never in the originals. They also had to remake a lot of the models from scratch so they'll look different too.

too bad they didn't upgraded the detail of the characters for all of the cutscenes (there were big difference between the in game graphics and cutscenes(not the CGI)) It'd have been a great addition. But never mind, i love this episode, it doesen't matter i already preordered

Notice how I said the only thing I said people bitched about was the revealing attire Yuna, Rikku, and Paine sported in X-2. In 2003 and beyond, I didn't see anyone complain about the gameplay or any other aspects of the game. Seeing that only a small few complained about a non-core aspect of the game, yes, their opinions matter little if not at all.

She was famous already because of her father so her change was a personal thing and the pop star thing as we all know was the Leblanc annoyance because Yuna is brave but she would've had stage fright to do that. However Leblanc warmed up the environment for her though. Yuna overall though shared a connection with a 1000 year old pop star/summoner so it makes sense considering her boyfriend was created by Bahamut from his memory of Shuyin. (the guy Tidus was modeled after as part of the story)

The revelation that Yuna had to die at the end is something that was supposed to trigger an emotional response from the player. That the player wanted to do everything he could to keep Yuna from dying. I know X-2 makes it obvious she lives, but making a trailer that blatantly says "Yuna is supposed to die" is not how you entice new fans to buying this.

I love X just for the ability to use Bahamut as I saw fit and give him new abilities. Auron was pretty badass too once he gets his celestial weapon. Still wish for a modern take on VII, but I understand the difficulties since it would have to be remade from scratch.

I doubt they re-recorded the voices but since they're the international versions we might get a language select option. They're trying to not change it too much because it's suppose to be a nostalgic trip down memory lane not a complete remake.

That reminds me of Final Fantasy VIII which is why I like the battle system in X-2 because they kept the key things from X but kinda mixed it and managed it with an older style ATB system.

XIII-2 story was pretty good actually... My only complaint with the XIII games is the levels were two straight forward and linear. But the story was fucking brilliant, not mention if you went through every gate and unlocked everything and actually comprehend the jumping back and forth through time and shit. I must admit, I didn't expect Noel to be such a badass.

Glad they're remaking these games instead of giving in to the FF7 fangirl demands. To this day, X has one of the most memorable and unique stories ever created in a video game. It's not some badass trying to forget his dark past or some shit. It's about a bratty kid who grows up and learns about forgiveness and love. That kind of stuff isn't found in today's games. X-2 was a nice fun little fan service that continued the story. I'm glad people realize which game deserved to be remade.

It's my personal opinion that the reason why they're (mainly Yuna) dressed in those clothes is because of their Dresspheres. If you look at their spheres in battle, they're a bit fan service. I mean, I don't think Yuna herself would choose to wear those type of clothing.

Confirmed the HD Remake will introduce 30 more minutes of extra content with new character's and faces after FFX-2. Some secret plot's or foreshadowing's and also why these part's came to be in mystery. That was in Famatsu Weekly.

They picked Final Fantasy X because it's still relevant to today with its message about society and because it's just as iconic as Final Fantasy VII not to mention it was the first PS2 Final Fantasy and the first in the series to feature voice acting and what they considered realistic looking graphics for its time.

You're missing the point. Not everyone (who HASN'T played) knows about the plot point/twist shown in this trailer, and it definitely isn't mention or portrayed outside of its game as much as Aerith's death (countless webcomics and parodies). I know a couple of people disagree with my initial statement and I get your points, but 10-year game or not, if I hear about a HD re-release of a game that I've never played I expect not to be spoiled by the trailer of all things.

You mentioned transforming which is common in superhero themed shows especially in Japan and Power Rangers which came from Japan also had transformations similar to X-2. The only Sailor Moon like transformations were the Special Dresspheres. So if transformations are girly then any shows with guys that transform (change into their uniform magically) are girly too.
